I posted this in the technical section with no response, so I figured I'd post it over here where there's a little more activity.

Long time reader, first time poster but I fear my initial post is about a problem. I have always had this problem but finally decided to see if there was a solution.

When I turn on my 360, it automatically signs me into xbox live. I can pull up messages and everything like normal. Once I start up the game (COD MW2) and go to play multiplayer on xbox live, it will search for a game (any type) to join for typically 4-5 minutes just to kick me out and have me sign back in. It works fine then finding a game in a matter of 10-20 seconds.

I have tried not signing in until I enter the xbox live multiplayer for MW2 and I have the same issue.

Any ideas on why it does this and a way to get it to work the first time?

If I need to clarify anything, just let me know.

Wow, apparently I'm the only one this has happened to.
