Is it me, or ever since black ops came out, noob tubing has gotten 10 times worse.

I have been playing mw2 ever since black ops came out and ever since I have seen 1MA/DC/Commando being used way too often.

Has anyone else noticed it?

I think we should all noob tubers!

I agree with Platy. If you want to get first blood, by all means, noob tube.

I think it is OK to noob tube when you start out or prestige and you are early into the levels. But if you're experienced, I think to myself "That person must be terrible.

The developers implemented grenade launchers knowing full well what they were capable of, if you disagree with a game mechanic that is apparently such a significant part of gameplay perhaps CoD is not the game (series) for you.

I have recently discovered that noob tubers are most rabid in Ground War matches. I found it very annoying and I was very angry when I was about to get my first killstreak leading up to the nuke and then I was unfortunately blown to bits by a level 47 noob carrying an M16A4 with a 'nade launcher.

It ruined my day.

I only use noob tubes to clear out hard campers, and certain times when you walk into a room full of enemies. Who is going to pass up 4 guys bunched together sniping? Or a group of guys huddling next to each other like scared rabbits.

The moral of this story is: Only use them when you need them. Not ALL the time.

And for you guys getting pissed at the tubes flying around, use blast shield. It's getting popular because of the problem 'tubes present.

every time i start a game and dont hear SOMETHING being fired accross the map i am surprised...or at least on afghan/invasion.... I never spawn kill....and its to the point when im surprised NOT to see people spawn killing with nubtubs

Using a blast shield is the stupidest idea ever. Not only does it blur your vision, but you can't use semtex/claymores either. You'll die a lot more from using a blast shield then from not using a blast shield, even if all you face is noob tubers.

I primarily use the tube for clearing and defending flags on Domination. Otherwise, they are not always that useful to me. Sometimes on TDM, I'll use it to clear out small rooms where snipers camp out, and shooting back is futile.

Somtimes I tube, sometimes I don't.

Today, I decided to use a tube, because the other team was a group, and the sniper was a major camper. At the end of the game I accidently made a close range shot and forgot to switch to the shotgun. Our team lost badly, and I did bad as well 9:2:16. What got me mad, was one of the guys who was with me when I screwed up, whined like a little child, and called me names for using a tube.

I see it as complaining about those guys who use Akimbo G-18's, or the Akimbo shotguns, that make you look like a retard. Whining about it is pointless. Just play the darn game and shutup.

I actually lost my cool a bit. This stupid kid actually cares enough to complain that I was using a tube? Some people need to grow up.

Now I'm venting...

I used to rage at tubes, but MW2 taught me to just accept the death and move on, since it wasn't going away. Even in Blops when I get tubed I only rage a little, since it's much more rare.

As has been said before, people take the game waaaay too seriously.
I use OMA tubing when levelling-up in Prestige & also on tube-friendly maps like invasion, wasteland & sub base.
Some get their thrills by running around like crazed maniacs knifing with marathon/lightweight/commando & tact knife, or waiting 5 minutes on the other side of the map for some unsuspecting sod to appear on their thermal sniper scope...
Most people run/gun but nothing seems to cause rage like OMA noob tubing.
Some kid sent me a message calling me a c**t during a game. Duly reported & hope his account gets closed. I doubt very much it will though.
