Default ANOTHER topic on hacks even though there are 5 right below this one
Hi Sir. I'm sort of desperate right now and I was wondering who to ask. anyways, I just wanted to ask if the servers for MW2 for PS3 are from activision or from the playstation network itself?. reason I asked is because i've been seeing a lot of players using cheats and even hacking other players playing fairly. I also would want to know if there's a way to get my acct back the way it was. thanks sir.

I'm not sure whether you're talking about IWNet or the actual servers you play on.

For the former, I don't know.

For the latter, when people are herded into a lobby, one person is the host.

IIRC, IWNET doesn't handle banning or anything like that. Probably best to contact PSN (doesn't PSN have a "report player/cheater" function?). Maybe they'll get banned from playing the game online using that account or something.

Times like this make me ever so glad I bought 4, WaW, and BlOps for the PC.~

VAC is responsible for banning. But it didn't work. Therefore, there were hacks/mods galore.

Anyway, PSN doesn't have an anti-cheat process, so tough shit. Move the fuck on.

Yeeaah~ I know this. VAC on MW2 PC was/is a joke (a bad one). Part of the reason I wish I never bought the game.
