ok,in my previous thread,i needed help on how to aim on high sensitivity,but now im getting very good at that.Now I wanna add one more skill to my arsenal,and that is the quick scope.Ive played with a good view of snipers who put holes in my ass with the quick scope,and now i wanna give the holes.

My advice would be just don't bother. Usually when you try to quickscope you end up doing terribly (I don't mean you personally) and there's nothing more frustrating than being on a team with a guy who tries to quickscope and fails. You'll help your team and do better being a traditional sniper than running toward the enemy with a sniper rifle in hand. So what if it's not "cool"

For gods sake, don't go into TDM and ruin the online experience for new players whilst going 2 - 25 with a bolt action sniper rifle. Either go into FFA or better up, private match with your friends. There is no secret to quickscoping, just drag your crosshairs over your enemy and ads and pull the trigger as soon as you see the guy in the middle of your scope. Practice makes perfect so go and play alot with your friends. The term quickscoping is vague and I'd rather see "offensive sniping" rather than quickscoping as you should pull up your pistol and finish people off if you missed your shot and/or got an hitmarker. Don't get misslead by people trying to convince you that "uhhh hardscope n00blet Q1cksc0p3 fyrlife <3". They'll try to mock you if you kill them in any other way than quickscoping as their narrow minds see it as the only skillfull way of killing people. I wouldn't bother with trickshots either, just do what is necessary to kill your opponent, wether that be a hard scope or a noscope.

Quickscoping online isn't my thing, but playing in a private match versus my IRL friends is tremendously entertaining so be sure to enjoy the experience. I can wish nothing but the best of luck, lol.

Just snipe normally and don't worry about quickscoping, and over time you will just get faster at it and it will turn into a quick scope.

There's really no other way of doing it. You need to start with hardscoping, taking typical vantage points and the like before you start quickscoping. For now, just use your secondary for CQC, but you'll progressively get better with twitch precision aiming and you'll do alright. It takes a little bit of practice and dedication to do it right. You don't just jump into a game and know how to quickscope because someone told you a few tips.

Quickscoping, as said before, is a technique, not a playstyle. It should be used simply at a range where a noscope would have a low probability of hitting and where you have a very good, clear line of sight (more applicable to console/stock PC, where sway fucks you over). Quickscoping is also useful when you are being fired upon.

Don't waste your time learning to quickscope. It's about as useful as a guy learning how to make sandwiches. Go play with your ARs.

i kind of agree with pants but to start off i would use quickscoping as a side hobby practising in private matches until your reasonable good....so get a few mates together and start of in a short range map like rust the class is up to you but i would recomend using the barret before moving onto the intervention

Quickscoping is a for teh lulz kind of thing. Play with friends in a priv match or just run around in pub going for stupid stunts.

If you really want to go the sticker route, just take a tiny tiny piece of sticky tak and put it in the middle of your x-hairs... or a black marker. But it's pretty dumb.

I'm just like you OP. I didn't know how to quickscope - until one day, I decided to snipe. I worked my way from hardscoping, to quickscoping.

At one time, I almost quickscoped two times in a row but I got the second person wrong it seems.

My technique was scoping as usual, but only when I see the crosshair in the place I want it to be, I let go of my trigger.

So, with this in mind, I say train your eyes to see a certain area and train it to "pull the trigger" when the time is right.

EDIT: Oh, and by the way, yes quickscoping is usually a "for lulz" technique. It was boring when I played with people who wanted to quickscope as a strict policy.
