Hey guys, new to the forums but I thought I'd look up a forum to ask this on after today.

I play MW2 for PC and my roommate and I constantly top the score boards with usually a 2+:1 KDR. We both use head sets and use that to our advantage in a major way- we hear someone running on the other side of the wall, we shoot through the wall. Common sense of course. On top of that, we both consistently keep UAV on as often as possible which normally means we have UAV for almost the entire game, which nets us kills on people we can't see as we can predict their movement.

We normally end up getting called hackers because we obviously have a good idea of where people are going to be and when to look around the corner because not many people have ninja pro or coldblooded on.

Up until today, being called a hacker was just a nuisance, actually kind of flattering, but today someone was able to use a hack to boot us despite neither of us hacking because he thought we were. This is now a problem, I play the game legit and always will, but I'm getting called a hacker and now booted from the game because someone can't figure out how to use their headset to their advantage.

Does anyone have any advice as to how I can deal with this?

I did the same thing with mw2 on the 360. 40+ regular TDM's 420 all day running around with low killstreaks and I got called a hacker frequently. But since my records are clean I didn't get banned so I guess you must've done something fishy. :/ People get constantly accused for being hackers but I'm not very familiar with how redundantly easy it seems to be to hack on PC. I'm not calling you a hacker but since it obviously is a corporation boot they must've had something on you.

Nah you misunderstood. It wasn't a ban at all, it was a player booting hack. It was a guy who decided I was hacking and used a hack to boot me from the lobby. Apparently those exist for the PC. I've never been banned, it's just frustrating getting kicked because random players find gadgets online and can't figure out how to use a UAV and assume I'm hacking because of it.

Uhm, never heard of that but I guess most tools can be created on the PC. People find excuses for everything that simply got them outplayed, for example hax, try-hard, cheesy guns etc.

It's because of the wonderful hosting setup MW2 IWNet employs. The host can lag out certain people, I believe.

Yea, because pc is so easy to mad and change code, I hear of this happening a lot on pc. Never experienced it cause i play console, but I can only say you're going to have to deal with it :/
