I need opinions on that thing. I hate getting killed by it because all you need to do is spray and pray but using it racks up easy kills. (in the right situation)

I personally avoid it 'cause it's just not fun. Spas-12 is beast.

spas-12 for life. range is second to none and is a lot more classy I suppose. the aa-12 is beast in tight corners or taking 3 people on at the same time but just keep your mobility up with the spas-12 and don't miss your shots.

the AA-12 is the original variant that gave birth to the USAS 12 which btw is the acronym U Suk At Shooting 12. So along the same lines....

It has more range than the AA12 has 12 shots and you can spray and pray if your fast with your finger.

SPAS-12 is not cheap. That's probably the most balanced of all the MW2 shotguns.

And yes, the AA-12 is that overpowered. Especially if you have Extended Mags. 12 shots in a fully automatic shotgun that is no more than a 2 or 3 hit kill.

This concept still baffles me.

What makes a shotgun cheap? Using it in CQC? Using attachments (that you can use with every other gun in the game) that increase it's deadliness? It's not so much cheap as it is effective. Seems like a lot of people confuse cheap with efficacy.

Before this post, I didn't know efficacy was a word.

To me, I feel that it is "cheap" only when someone uses it while camping in a corner. Like if I'm running around the map and get killed by someone running around with it it's fine, though I'd still prefer for it to be something else.

C'est la vie, I guess. Hopefully AA-12 isn't too bad in MW3.
