Unlocked the MG4 last night and loaded it with sleight, stoppin and steady , TDM on highrise and went 26 for 6 , it was pretty awesome , the firepower justs blows everything away..

Never got to try out the MG4.

So far I've been trying to stick to my SMG class, but it's difficult to do that since I haven't found an smg with idle yet (anything with idle is usually really good in everything else: recoil, damage, ROF).

So far my fav SMG is the MP5K (got sick of the UMP's high recoil and low ROF).

Favorite AR, however, is the SCAR. I just do awesome with it (gonna try out the ACR once I unlock it though).

id also have to say the scar-h is my favorite as well until i get the acr i think then it still may be the scar who knows

Scar-H I give it a 7/10
The ACR and SCAR-H are alike but the ACR is way more Accurate and it has better ROF, but the SCAR-H does more damage but if I had to choose between Accuracy and Damage I would go with Accuracy, so I choose the ACR over the SCAR-H...

The Famas with silencer and acog is very very good , on most weapons the silencer seems to reduce damage or range but on the famas it seems to make not much difference ...

Thats because the ACOG increases the range but the silencer reduces it, they both cancell each other out so its like having nothing on your gun.

I always go back to the RPD. It's a beast from long range, and does decently at mid and short range as well. Gotta be quick!

6/10 sorry nothing against the gun or you i just hate lmgs.
favorite is probably the m16 love it with stopping power i can get many kills with one round.
favorite secondary is the m93 rafficka simply because it owns especially with akimbo and steady aim.
favorite sniper is the m21 it doesn't do as much damage but low recoil makes it fairly easy to get a second shot kill.

This is the beauty of MW2 - so many different options and variables to take into account!

Personally, i'm rocking ...

ACR + ACOG
SCAVENGER PRO
STOPPING POWER PRO
STEADY AIM PRO

I find this setup perfect for CQB and you can still snipe headshots with the ACOG

Plus with SCAV PRO you get 180 rounds stashed away and 40 in the clip so you can take down multiple enemies without having to reload constantly

I love the ACR. Simply for it's low recoil and good range. Good to hip fire with as well if caught unexpected.

I've tried the TAR based on what I have read here, but i find the recoil was greater than I liked. The RDS on the TAR made the peripheral vision quite poor, but was much better with the holographic sight. Don't know, I just don't seem to get as many kills with it compared to the ACR.

Tried snipers, and once again, just like COD4, i can't use them for toffee. Not been a massive fan of the SMGs either to be honest. I think i need to play some private matches just to get used to the guns and adjust my style. I'm sure I wasn't this bad in COD4....

Fed-Up

Different weapons for different occasions;
My main assault-class enjoys the TAR-21
My coldblooded ninja loves his ACR
Main sniper use the Intervention
Coldblooded ninja-sniper likes his M-21
...and my tank-buster use whatever weapon I want to unlock attachments on

Secondary weapons are; PP2000 (it owns), M9 (best handgun, imo), TMP (great gun, but.. so few bullets), Akimbo shotties for pure overpoweredness, and stingers for my tank-buster.

...Semtex on all classes.... Damned Riot-shields! =P

Sniper rifle = Intervention or 50 cal
Secondary by fair the 1887's akimbo'd.

ACR because of its amazing accuracy and barely any recoil.
MP5K because I love the bloody gun, and it works wonders.
AUG HBAR when it has the foregrip it is a beast
snipers because of the accuracy and the chance of a OHK is very very high
1887's because they have good range and power
