Just curios what everyone thinks, what is the best gun in the game? My opinion is the first gun you receive the M4A1 with a holographic scope. Im not sure why I like that gun so much in the original Modern Warfare I loved the P90 because of how fast it was but due to the size of the new maps I find that you need more accuracy now because the shots are longer.

TAR-21 with ACOG scope or underbarrel shotgun. Gun is incredibly damn powerful. If you're looking at something a little easier to control, the SCAR-H (easier to burst at long range, I say, and is available at level 8 instead of 20). TAR-21 has nice sights - red dot and holographic sights are a waste, if you ask me, since many guns seem to have better sights than those found in CoD4.

ACOG doesn't suck anymore. It really doesn't. Nice crosshair (not a stupid chevron), is still "functional" if the enemy uses EMP (it has "normal" painted on crosshairs too), good zoom, and doesn't affect guns accuracy. Appears to increase recoil, though. Not too sure on that. Semi automatic at long range all the way.

Underbarrel shotgun, lets you free up the secondary weapon slot for a launcher or another gun (for MOAR DAKKA), is actually pretty powerful. Despite being pump action, it fires pretty quickly.

I like the SCAR with the ACR coming second. M4 seems to have a bigger clip and a higher fire rate. But it isn't as accurate and doesn't do as much damage as the SCAR.

I absolutely love the ACR w/ Red Dot Sight!, I own with it but that's because I'm an accurate shooter, not a sprayer so that's my opinion. Peace.

so far i like the scar it's very versitle ive sniped with it with the thermal
i run and gun with it naked(or rds if you prefer the irons are awesome tho) and ambush and flank witha silencer its amazing, by the looks of it too the acr looks like it could easily win me over with the little recoil

my favorite is the ACR with ACOG. :3 this gun is soooo accurate and i prefer accuracy over strength. I haven't used the AK-47 yet so yea idk about that yet.

It's either ACR, without a aiming attachment as the sights are so amazing.

Or the M16 with the ACOG scope. Very accurate and surprisingly powerful.

but i love the [almost unfair] accuracy of the M93 and RDS.

ACR w/ RDS is pretty potent too.

In my opinion its the ACR with an ACOG because the gun is accurate and it doesnt jump a lot with the ACOG on it. Right now Im using the M4 with a holographic. But thats just because Im trying to get the fall camo so I can hang the gun up for now.

M4 w/ Extended Mags
SCAR-H comes in next, because of it's small clip.
And for attachments,
Underbarrel Shotgun - Because, having a shotgun is always fun.
Heartbeat Sensor - Future tech for the win.
Extended Mags - Never hurts to have more ammo.
Honestly, I've never had the time to get Extended Mags on some weapons, I've gotten it on the M4, which took a while because I never sprayed walls.

My favorite AR so far, as I haven't unlocked them all, is definitely the M4. It sounds really cool in this game, and performs just as well. Although it seems that I am always outgunned by the ACR.

The intervention is also fantastic. Popping off a shot with that gun is very satisfying. It's powerful, accurate, and easy enough to use. Still, I once again get outgunned by the M21 EBR whenever I go up against another sniper.

Still, I love them both.

AR: ACR with a Silencer.
- Top notch accuracy and range

SMG: P90 with Red Dot Sight.
- High power and fast fire rate makes quick work out of anyone short-to-mid range.

SR: Intervention with no Attachments.
- I love bolt action rifles, and the sound it makes after a shot sounds so refreshing, definitely my favorite sniper.

They're not the same thing? Extended Mags doesn't give you more ammo, it gives you more ammo per magazine and less magazines, you get the exact same number of bullets. Extended Mags is better if you're wanting to spray or play in a fast paced style with little time for reloading. Scavanger Pro is better if you camp or achieve longer lives with another playstyle.

OT: UMP w/ Silencer.

Being playing pretty much solely with this gun for 1.5 Prestiges and it's awesome.

extended mags don't give you more ammo. They just make each clip last longer before reload.




But i prefer the SCAR-H with extended mags.
