Cold-Blooded Perk Ability: Undetectable by UAV, air support, Sentry Guns, and thermal.

Pro Ability: No red crosshair or name shown when you are targeted.

I use Cold Blooded with my sniper class, this PRO addition with help a lot. Imagine sniping and someone points at you and their crosshair doesn't turn red and your name doesn't pop up. Awsome.

Hi Stonerboy - you don't get a red cross hair / name when the target is a certain distance away anyhow, so it won't make a lot difference there.

Where it will make a big difference is when your in bushes or grass as the red name coming up gives you away really easily, which is not very realistic. When CB Pro is combined with a ghille suit and you hang out in cover it is mega stealth!

If anyone needs to unlock it you can do it in about 2 hours of play. Put a Stinger in as your secondary weapon and then as soon as you hear there is an Enemy UAV on line look up for the little plane lock on and destroy it (they move real slow so its very easy). You can also bring down Choppers, Pave low's and harriers etc which is very satisfying but annoying for whoever called them in.

Also if you see any Sentry guns - just a stun / flash at them and then shoot them to bits.

Get to 40 using any of the above as your victims and you have cold blooded pro unlocked.

Good info... except, if you are using Cold Blooded you don't need to waste your stuns or flash, you'll go unnoticed by the Sentry Guns, UAVs, Choppers, Harriers, AC-130.

Too true, you can stand right in front of anything, and you won't get hit until someone near you sets it off (i did that before, :P)

Never thought about a team member setting it off as you are passing by it... true indeed, luckily it has not yet happened to me.

with sentry guns i usually tell my team not to go there and then i take it out, usually im the only one with coldblooded on my team in reg, hc is a different story

It's going very slow for me to unlock Cold Blooded PRO, I think I have destroyed 10 of 40... I don't want to carry a Stinger since I do need my PP2000 as back up.

my SMG is my main weapon for my cold blooded class, i have a stinger as secondary.

im on part 6 of the cold blooded challenge.

128/250 enemy killstreak rewards destroyed

The thing is, the better you are (and your team) the harder it is to shoot things down!

What? I can stand in front of Sentry Guns no problems, UAVs I laugh at them... I have never been killed by a Chopper Gunner, Predator, AC-130, Attack Chopper, Harrier, Air Strike while having Cold Blooded on.

you are both pretty much right.

Cold blooded will stop auto controlled things from targetting you, things like harriers, pave lows, which do not require a player to pilot, will not fire at you at all.

You can be hit by airstrikes, im not sure whether sentry guns will target you, i always circle them so i havent tried.

Uavs have no affect on cold-blooded players, neither do thermal scopes (i dont think?)

The AC-130 and the chopper gunner can still kill you. you wont have a big red box giving away your position, and due to the thermal sights, will be more difficult to see. However, you can still die from them, there is nothing stopping a pilot of one of those two killstreak rewards from spotting you (although its more difficult) and mowing you down. This applies to predator missiles too.

Also, bare in mind that they all 'splash' damage, in that it hits an area. So if they target someone who is anywhere near you (the AC 130 rockets and predator missile especially) you will get mowed down as easy as somebody without cold-blooded.

just designate a class as an anti aircraft class. i got cold blooded pro with this loadout:

RPD (with grip)
Stinger
Sleight of Hand Pro
Cold Blooded
Steady Aim Pro

whenever an aircraft takes you out change your class quickly before you respawn to your aa (anti aircraft) class... The stinger is almost a guaranteed 1 shot kill. It won't be long until you are a cold blooded pro

Thanks... I figured that if someone happens to be next to me that I would die as well, except I'm never targeted, harder to see I guess.

I usually roll a stealth kit-Cold Blooded, Ninja, whatever in first perk. Doesn't even matter which is my primary-sometimes scar, sometimes others, I just throw a stinger on secondary. Easy way to get Cold Blooded Pro and take out enemy air support while sneaking around.

whenever i try to use stinger. it says lock on required...what does that mean? how come i cant shoot with it?

You need to lock on to a vehicle by sighting down the stinger (right mouse in PC, whatever zoom is for consoles) then wait for a series of beeps that turn into one flat beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Once you hear the long beep you're good to fire, it's locked on to the vehicle.

Precisely. Which is why cold blooded is useful because it isn't raining down a righteous hail of lead on you while you lock on to it to shoot it down. Be warned that some air support have flares. AC-130 has two sets. Harrier has 1 or none (Can't recall) Pavelow has 1. It varies from craft to craft.

i'd also consider using the scavenger/pro perk just so if you run out of stinger ammo or miss or something along those lines, you can just pick up an ammo drop so that you can maintain kdr while leveling cold blooded up

The Scar. I also use Scav though, since the Scars ammo is low.
