It's really hard to say at this point which is the best. I can definitely tell you WaW takes a back seat to 4 and 6, even though zombies somewhat redeems it. I just find the modern setting more interesting. I'm going to have a bias opinion because I play on PC and the no dedicated servers and craptastical IWnet makes me really mad. If 6 had the same multiplayer basic setup (dedi servers, mods, console, large player counts, etc.) but still had new additions (killstreak reward customization, mods, perks, etc.) it'd edge out 4. I'm gonna have to give 6 time to see if IW gets off their @$$e$ and patches any good changes. Until then: 4, 6 or 5. Leaning toward 4,6,5 but we'll see if they can make me think 6 deserves to be called better than 4.

i do like 4 very much but i think the little things they have done on 6 really dose make a big diffrence allthou 4 dose do it for me but i think 6 will catch up in my books

#2 CoD4 (Tho this has been my favourite game before the release)
#3 Cod2 why is this forgotten its a really good game and is much funner than WaW, didnt get into the oringal so much though

IW have improved a lot on MW2 but imo it is let down by inferior weaponry (most notably a lack of snipers) and a number of the maps are very uninspiring to play. Also the camping on cod6 just ruins it a little bit.

They are all very fun, cod4 is the least flawed out of the three though.
I have no favorite out of the three, I am pretty tired of cod4 now adays though.

COD4: Seems to be the most balanced of the three games, no vehicles or overpowered kill streaks. Most of the guns are balanced as well, and the game plays well. Sure grenades and the m16 are good but it never ruined the game for me.

CODWAW: Refreshing to play compared to cod4 or MOD2 I still play it a couple times a week. The older guns are fun to use, I love bolt action rifles I wish there was another in MOD2. The weapons are not very balanced, MP40 rapes most things on a lot of maps. Dogs rape and are hard to find hiding spots from, recently I have been getting away from them quite easily however. Tanks ruin the game play a lot more then the MP40 in my opinion, if more people tried to take them out it would be fine but that doesn't happen.

MOD2: Guns aren't to balanced assault rifles rape the field, SMGs are horrible compared to the two other games. The chopper gunner and AC-130 kill streaks are overpower, the chopper gunner especially. Lots of campers compared to the other two games which is annoying but not a game killer. Nades have been nerfed from what they were in cod4 which is a good thing I guess.

In order of preference, MW2, MW, Nazi Zombies, CoD2, CoD1 .... WaW. I seperate WaW from nazi zombies well, because normal WaW multiplayer just seemd to suck so much more than CoD2.

1.MW2, very fun game and am quite addicted to it. the campers have to go!

2.MW, WAW. they are pretty even i think. sometimes i like MW, sometimes i like WAW. why do people think WAW sucks? its not that bad of a game.

3. CoD 2, kind of the forgotten COD game. very exiting and great graphics

1. MW2 - Maps are a little oversized however I find them all enjoyable. I think the map pack they will come out with will end peoples map rant

2. MW - Weapons were pretty much all balanced. However, some maps were just unbearable to play for me which sets it back. I couldn't bear playing Wet Work or Bloc.

3. WAW - This game is great... if it's your first game in the COD series. This game was my first leap at live on XBOX. It was a blast, loved it, couldn't get off of it. I saw Modern Warfare in the store and bought it and then couldn't stand WAW. Now with MW2, this game will never make it back into my XBOX.

I definitely have no intention of going back to Cod4, but I still need a lot more time on MW2 to compare the two properly.
MW2 is great and there are lots of little things I love, like titles, emblems, killstreak rewards, more weapon attachments etc.
