Default claymores and c4

anyone else dissapointed that they decided to give you only one claymore or one c4. i know i am one claymore just isnt enough. most buildings have up two or more entrances and the claymore is useless unless its planted right behind you! im thiking about switching to tactile insertion instead on claymores on my sniping class.
thoughts?

Because scavenger lets you pic up Ammo off dead opponents. Including rockets, grenades, and c4/claymores.

you can put down two. if you put down a third then your earlier claymore will blow up.

Personally, I think Scavenger is one of the best perks in the game. Scavenger Pro even better (obviously!). I mean, how many people who have used the SCAR-H have craved both bigger clips and more grenades?!

I think they are half ass backwards when they develop a game.

in previous games 2 BB or 2 Claymores were over kill it seemed.

yet in a game where their is rarely, I do mean rarely a place with less then 2 doors or openings to come through they decide to give you 1 C4 and 1 Claymore.

Brilliant mind work by yours truly, Activision and IW.

they need to rename this game to Camp of Duty: Stupid Warfare

Claymores have been "nerfed" pretty bad, I must say. As said above, there are 2+ entries to about 80% of the buildings in MW2, whereas in MW1 there were one, maybe two, and we received enough claymores to block each. Scavenger does help, but why should we have to use our Tier 1 perk slot just to cover up the problem? I guess that was how the game is designed, and obviously I'm just in a blind rage because I can't camp with my ACOG Barrett in a room with a stable ceiling, one entrance, and three windows to different areas of the map anymore, and that's why I'm saying this (/sarcasm /run-on).

I know it says /sarcasm, but that was really convincing. Sadly, most people DO think they should be able to camp in perfect peace all day long without a worry in the world.

Yeah it really wasnt a very brilliant of IW to give you 1 Claymore. Each building now has like atleast 2 entrances, sometimes even more. I hope they can somehow update or something(probably not)

snipers are already kind of useless in this game, AND they only have 1 claymore,

snipers=worst class

No, snipers are useless, end of discussion(snipers suck compared to MW1)

If you're clever, sniper's are useful weapons, even with 1 claymore. I've survived countless matches using just a sniper and a single claymore, despite my teammates best efforts to run to the other end of the map so the enemy spawn behind me. I find Marathon more useful than Scavenger, quicker get away.

You mean one or the other yeah? Not both at the same time o.O?

Scavenger is the answer to all your problems, and one man army as TLD has mentioned if you don't mind ditching your sidearm.

You should try to place yourself so that you're in less situations that you need to get away. I mean, hmmm... I suppose if you absolutely positively have to run away a lot, then Marathon is an option, but I don't see why you'd really use it on a sniper class.

i agree, if a bunch of your teammates are dieing around you slowly move away staying under cover. Marathon is definitely not needed and scavenger is pretty sweet i enjoy it a lot, sleight of hand is another considerable one cuz u can scope faster with pro. bling if u want to use an intervention and put heartbeat sensor and thermal. Although i don't recommend this it can work. put a claymore down at one entrance then face towards the other entrance when your sensor beats.

I think the 1 claymore is a good thing. If you're sniping, then it forces you to move around a little and be aware so you're punished if you sit in your little snipey nest while you wait for someone to walk into your scope :P But what do I know, I never really snipe except when I start sucking pretty bad

This might not work too well. If you plant a TI and they are still in the room that's just another kill for them.
