Default Nuke Boosting
I was just wondering if you have seen any nuke boosting? I have seen it twice and it utterly pisses me off. Two people join session and are other teams, hide in a corner with tactical insertion and then they repeatedly kill each other to get the nuke. It is very very cheap.

funny, i read this topic. sort of blew it off cause i had never seen it.

soon enough i went to play some modern warfare two, and lo and behold my very first game someidiot on the other team gets a nuke. thinking to myself "huh, he only killed me once by memory and that was a predator missle." looking over the stats bottom of the list for my team was a guy 1 and 27 with the clan tag "bomb" and the top of their list was another clan tag "bomb" going like 32 and something

I got a nuke off of some today lol. I had like a 20 killstreak and camped were they kept trying to boost and got my nuke lol, I told them thanks for the help, and they tried to add me so we could boost lol

Seriously that like recks the fun of getting the nuke

NB is seriously gay. I join a match where the guys were nuke boosting and it wrecked my win streak (dont know how many wins i had lol). i almost killed the guy who had the nuke too, but for some reason my bullets dont shoot around corners like everyone elses.

If you watched Hutch's FFA sniping tips video on YouTube (the Machinima channel), he stumbles upon two guys who are presumably nuke boosting in a back room on the Terminal map. Of course, he snipes them both.

Lol yeh i saw that. Tho tbh that is a pretty terrible place to try and boost if you ask me, if surprised they werent camping the kitchen area seems more sensible...

Anyway yeh this tactic is seriously annoying, makes higher killstreaks a bad addition when you can cheat the system.

all proven boosters (and hackers) should have their ID banned. Have you seen the top of the leaderboards on PSN? they don't even make sense! 3 mins play and ridiculous k/d ratios with hundreds of thousands of kills. and a kill streak of 1000's.

and if people do want to boost, why the hell don't they do it in a cage match? why ruin everyone elses' game? selfish c**ts.

Presumably cos you cannot pick your opponent... you'd have to go through hundreds of players till you find one willing to boost with you.

to stop this look on ur mini map and see where the guy disappears at and look around there either stopping ur teammate from boosting or stopping the opposite team from boosting it

Ive been in around 2 or 3 games where a guy from my team, and a guy from the other team, go in a corner, take turns, and go like 40 and 1. Gets REALLY annoying after awhile

I've never seen it yet, but i bet it can happen. Sounds annoying, and really, what's sad is i'll probably never complete the nuke challenges without boosting or camping , i run&gun, which goes against killstreaks

posting it here wasnt a good idea because now a lot of people are going to try it. anyway my friends online care about there K/D R more then anything so i dont think i can ever talk them into it even if i tried. but it doesnt matter to me because i have gotten the nuke like 5 times already by myself. its not hard.

Just wondering this guys out of curiosity, is it possible to get a permanent ban for nuke boosting, or would it just be a temporary. Can you even get banned for nuke boosting in game?

I've seen it once, on Hardcore HQ on PSN.

I just start camping the guy and killing him first, then just followed the other guy around, firing in the air whenever the enemy had UAV.
