Care. Package. Glitch. Literally 75% of games i played today had someone exploiting it. I know it will be patched but it has made the game unplayable for me recently.

One thing nobody seems to pick up on is the god awful registration on MW2, CoD4 had its problems and if anything they have worsened in MW2. Im talking physically seeing my crosshair in the middle of a guy, firing, and hitting nothing.

As long as i dont play to seriously i really enjoy the game, all of yesterday i spent running around dominations and free for alls spinning around with an intervention and throwing knives while frapsing it for my montage and had the most fun ive had since the release.

Fair enough. The care package glitch, that was a clearly glitch, but i am really pissed at IW for messing around with the model 1887's again.

You see here's the thing. I have a job which need's going to so that I can pay my bill's and one of these bill's is my xbox live subscription, so I don't have time to play 24/7 like some lucky people, so I can't spend all my time ranking up on MW2 like I did call of duty 4.

For quite a while I got killed a quite few times by people adorning akimbo model 1887's, but i did not bitch and whine on twitter about it, I just picked them up off the ground when I could and tried them out and looked forward to them being available when I reached level 67.

Now I have got to 67 last night and yes it's taken me a while but as said earlier I do have a life which consists of me spending 10 hours a day outside working.

Now because of people whining, akimbo model 1887's have been ruined and I don't get to have my fun after earning my place at 67.

I come back unlock FMJ, put bling pro and akimbo both on model 1887's and notice that the patch i had accepted 2 minutes before had screwed up my chances of having a bit of fun with these guns.

For me this just tops the lot with modern failware 2.You have shit going on like chopper gunners / ac-130's going around massacring people (and then after you die spawing you right out in the open again to get mowed down again by the same chopper) and instead of sorting out that crap they concentrate dumbing down antique shotguns.

I have had it, going back to call of duty 4 as it simply is a better all round balanced game.

Just because you didn't get to use something OP does not mean it shouldn't be patched out, stop being so selfish. The game is better without them being ZOMG OP.

I understand your frustration...but if i understand your rant.......you are giving up on mw2 and going back to COD4 (b/c "as you say" its better balanced) b/c they nerfed an imbalanced gun and got rid of glitches to make tiny steps toward improving the balance of mw2?

You're going back to CoD 4 because it's more BALANCED but the Model 1887 nerf came out to BALANCE them because they were overpowered. It got patched on PC ages ago, you didn't think 360 was coming?

And the CG/AC-130 is an 11 kill streak requirement that with CB you are invisible to and can 2/3 shot with a stinger. GG.

ok it was a bit of whine and threw my rattle out of the pram! I was genuinely pissed off and I am sure you have all been pissed off about something at some point in time. I am quite happy to keep using my spas, but I was honestly looking forward to using akimbo models as they were.

I probably would have got bored with them quite soon, but it would have been nice to try. And my main point is the MW2 is so unbalanced in so many ways with its crazy kill streak awards and sniper precision assault rifles that I am surprised they homed in on the 1887's as much as they did.

If you going to do something like this then a fair way to balance is nerf the gun when it gets so many kills in such a time period i.e. when its clearly being overused.

Well that only really applies to domination in normal core.

In most other modes and esp hardcore you won't find people doing ballet jumps off a roof with an ACOG'ed M40 as they end up going 4 - 16.

I played sometime last week and that's all I saw, it was Domination... Snipers everywhere. It was rather unplayable because I was getting sniped from every direction.

Just my opinion...they dont care about balance so much as long as whatever is imbalanced is not abused

Edit: and even then they're going to take their sweet time doing anything about it....if ever

I think you are someone who doesn't know how to play the game like it should be played.

Everything in MW2 that is "cheap" has a counter. Heartbeat? Use Ninja. Killstreaks? Make a sleight of hand + stinger setup, switch to it when killstreaks are up, then they are over. Easy. Got a sniper with thermal out there? Use a cold blooded class.

One of the only "cheap" things in MW2 that had zero counter were the 87s. The akimbo range was ridiculous. There was no counter for such a cheapass weapon.

As much as people complain about MW2, it really isn't an unbalanced game overall (except maybe it being primarily a rifle game). People just are too lazy, too ignorant or just not informed about the ways you should play the game. It seems like everybody wants to pick their favorite weapon, go out and spray and pray. Theres a ton of strategy to the game if you know how to use it.

Well, I can see what you mean, if they nerfed the shotguns why wouldn't they nerf the OP killstreaks? But still, I find it more enjoyable to be killed by something at least MODERN, like a gunship, instead of an Army Ranger sprinting around holding two ancient shotguns at arms lengths. Just seeing that makes me cringe.

been playing cod4 again for about three weeks(cant stand mw2)and i really haven't ran into may m40 acog goons at all,also i have had tons of fun.also snipers are very easy to kill.i have recently set up a uav jammer class, and started planting claymores behind them...they are so zoned in on there scopes all the time the dont even hear the click from me setting them,needless to say they are pretty angry with me after they see the killcam

Enjoy the lag, lack of host migration, X3 frag spam, Overkill with double noobtube, M16s with stopping power, glitchers, juggernauts, martyrdom, and everything else that people bitched about.

No thank you COD4, I'll go play some bioshock 2 or mass effect 2, to blow off some steam. Then get back to some more MW2.

Overkill tubes pales in comparison with OMALOL tubes.
With OMALOL tubes you get infinite nades and tubes AND danger close. Overkill tubes means you have 4 max with no nades and no danger close as it's tier 2 with overkill.

yeah mass effect kinda got my mind off of MW2. Now I'm having Mass Effect withdrawals, and I'm not going to wait two years for Mass Effect 3 to come out.
