EvilScotty- Yeah, I've gone through a LOT of ammo trying to do this, I'm afraid to look at my accuracy rating (which was 35% going into this little sidebar). However, one of my Achille's heels in the game is dying VERY often, so there usually isn't much time between running out of FAMAS ammo and going "tits up".

true that.

im on like 17% accuracy lol. Im a massive sprayer but i figure fire more bullets - hit more enemies. That and i do cover fire for team-mates when im using my LMG. Its amazing how scared people get when you fire near them with a machine gun, they all just hide and dont come out for ages lol.

Spraying does seem to help me get the FMJ kills, most people may stop shooting when they see an enemy go behind cover or they dont have a clear shot, where as i normally unload a clip into people when i get the chance lol.

Im accurate down the sights etc. but when it comes to SMG's my god i get through bullets fast.

I think it just takes time, I have done 2 challenges for extended mags, I think fmj is really powerful it's suprising how easily it can wreck havock on opponents through walls. Might have to just suffer a bit of accuracy loss and do some wall spraying.

Once I went back to my normal play style, I got the 40 kills and it didn't take that long. Don't look for them, they'll come to you.

UPDATE: Did it (in less than 80 matches). The "best advice" award goes to.....

COLONEL VASQUEZ!

The airplane in Terminal was a GOLDMINE. Between the wall you told me about, the jet-way, and dudes holing up in the cockpit I got 16 of the final 20 kills I needed in TWO matches!. Thanks to all!

Thread necromancy......... Rather than start a new thread about bullet penetration kills I'll revive this thread and ask my question here.

Does anyone know if it makes a difference if the "object" you are shooting through is near you or near the enemy? The reason I ask is that I only seem to get kills if the object is near the enemy and not near me.

That is a hard challenge for me too, I just need the bullet penetration kills for my Mastery ACR, I don't know how many kills, just 1 penetration kill.

Scavenger is probably more useful than bling because it allows you to have plenty of ammo to pump into walls...

I used hbs and fmj with my FAMAS to get the kills. In hc hq I think one of the best places is the hq in the middle of scrapyard. Cap the hq, sit in the building by b flag, and then whenever the enemy goes to cap it shoot through the plane. I know it's a little late but whatevs lol

shooting through glass is the easiest way to get it done. even the little corners of glass count after you break the window. i have the m4a1, scar, famas, acr, ump, mp5k, vector, intervention, barret, wa2000, L86, and rpd all matered and glass was by far the easiest way, although the sub machine guns are a pain in the a** to get it down with
