You know when you have played a well-below-average game and you wait for the game summary screen to appear, and you get to the accolades...

"Most reloads" Yay!
"most time near enemies" Where?!?

I think I'd rather not earn any accolades than "most weapon swaps" or "highest average altitude". The shame! I already know I sucked.

Does anyone else feel like this is their mother offering encouragement despite they know you did horribly?
Which accolade carries the most shame?

I entered a free-for-all 30 seconds before time was up, got spawn-killed, re-spawned, game over, "Lowest Average Altitude" accolade. Thanks. I felt much better after receiving that, it prevented me killing myself.

I have had that happen a few times. In games like that you don't have time to move to other altitudes before time is up. It makes me feel ever so special.

However, you make a very valid point. Altitude is THE most important thing to any player, my position in relation to sea level dominates my decisions in-game. It's closely followed by "most distance travelled" because everyone knows that the KDR is what defines a good player (Kilometres Directly Run).

I've just thought, why isn't there one for the opposite of that, most camping done?

Oh, but there is! "Statuesque" I think it's called. Most time spent in one place. I am always looking for someone to high-five when that baby rolls up!

Tip for getting that one done: 1. Equip cold-blooded and ninja. 2. Go to the basement in Estate and lie down behind the bar. 3. Have a snack.

Lockdown - most time spent in one place.
Also is a Grassy knoll - most time in prown.

I've often thought that's the most pointless map feature in the whole game. I've often taken a quick look down there mid-game in the hope of some action but seeing as there's no windows to shoot out of and only one entrance, there's never anyone down there. Next time I'll check behind the bar though, you're no longer safe I'm afraid.
Back on topic, I guess I'm relieved not to have ever received the "Statuesque" accolade, although I'm surprised it wasn't presented to me as a double-whammy with the "lowest average altitude" one.

Agreed, there is a little room or two there too. I think you can re-equip there in the Spec Ops mission that takes place in this map.

I think it must be "most time standing still" or something. But the shame-accolades do tend to come in pairs (or worse). And you can't really get away from them either. If you are not getting "most killcams skipped" it will be "most killcams watched". When it rains...

Worst accolade to get is "Participant" which is to get at least one death and no kills. I have 4 of them from joining late games only to be immediately killed and then end the game

I jumped into a Free-for-All with 3 minutes to go and got NO ACCOLADES. Try looking in the mirror after that.

Also, the AFK accolade (no kills, no deaths in a full match), I did this in FFA but didn't get it, (had to answer the phone so I hid in the little room on the catwalk in Afghan) is it reserved for one of the other modes? I ask because it's on one of the last pages of accolades with things like most flag carries, etc.

You should have gotten it, as far as i'm aware there are no other prerequisites to achieve the accolades other than the task itself, maybe you were killed or joined the game late? you have to go a full match not one that already started, like the challenges of winning however many HCTDM matches, if you join and people have already killed/died etc it wont count towards the challenge since you weren't there at the start.

as far as the bar in the basement goes i like sitting on the 2 person couch behind the stairs little bit more secretive sometimes i'll tactically respawn there. Then if anyone looks behind the bar i can kill them

ultimate camping for when i'm eating dinner or something

Naw, I find it funny when I come out of the game to see "Most Reloads" and "Most C4 Kills" when I got one. Also yesterday I got an accolade which pretty much summed up the entire game for me: "Most Comebacks".

theres one accolade i think its something like "most bullets or ammunition used" had that one a few times but what it really means is that you couldnt hit a cow on the arse with a banjo !!

Prestige 10 > Titles > Emblems > Challenges > Accolades

That's the order that i'm doing things in. It's a lot of stuff to complete but seeing as i am not buying the next game by Trechyard i should have time to 100% complete multiplayer.

That is my plan as well... go for prestige first then the rest will follow.

lol its so true...I'm surprised that there isn't an accolade htat just comes straight out and says "YOU SUCK TOO HARD TO GET ANY OTHER ACCOLADES!"
That would make me feel better than getting "lowest average altitude" or "Statuesque" but maybe its just me?
