I could really do with some tips for using the stealth bomber.

As players are getting more experienced with the game, it seems that my pave low is getting shot down more and more often, and while i've never thought about it before, i think the stealth bomber could actually be a more productive kill streak reward.

I have only used it around 25 times (care package) and when i do it seems to be seriously hit or miss, and usually completely luck based. Sometimes i get 7 or 8 kills, while others i don't even make contact with the enemy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd definitely recommend it on wide open maps, unlike skidrow.

Since you get to choose the direction of the bombing, try putting it parallel to a street/passage that you want to bomb.
I'd say to use it only when your team has a UAV up, or if you are sure about where your enemy is. Maybe try not using it right when you get your killstreak, but just wait for the right moment.

don't use it. until a bunch of red dots show up on the radar.

The bigger the map the more effect you'll get out of it because it carpet bombs a strip the entire way across the map. If it's an open map it will be better too. Stealth Bomber is beastly on Wasteland if you can get someone to get a UAV up.

I'm pretty sure that the Stealth Bomber doesn't stretch the whole distance of the map, in fact i am positive.

Wasteland would be the map to prove me wrong...I haven't actually watched one there...every other map though, including derail width wise it has been true.

even if it doesn't span wasteland it's bad fucking ass on that map though.

I wouldn't dream of using either of the airstrikes in Hardcore, i mean i even hate the fact that the Harriers have a small airstrike before they come in.

Danger Close Pro increases Killstreak damages of all killstreaks, from Sentry Guns to AC130s.

Really!??!!

Even stuff like attack helicopter and sentry guns that don't use actually blasts to cause damage??

Cause if they do, that gives me one of my first really reasons as to why i should use Danger Close.

If you see no enemies on the map and you when calling in a stealth bomber look at the arrow on your laptop which indicates the position which the bomber will fly from. Try to call the strike in an area that allows it to sweep the entire map since the payload is almost enough to cover most maps if positioned right.

actually the bombing start where you put the circle, so position it at the edge of the map and it will cover all the distance with bombs. It is still possible to hear it but it does WAY more kills than a normal airstrike.

UAV is your friend.
You literally MUST have it equipped in order to bomb nicely
