I thought it was a good score. Seeing that nobody touched me, and I did all the work by myself, with a few kills done with killstreak rewards.

The closest thing I've gone near 13-0 is 24-1 in COD4.

And besides, most people get that "Fearless" challenge well late into the 10 prestiges. I got mine in a few prestiges. I got fearless during this match on MW2. And I'm not even prestige yet.

For me, getting a high k/d ratio for a match like that isn't easy for me to come by, not in MW2.

I know what you mean about mw2 there seem to be endless things that can kill you. I have a "the show" (10+ kill 0 deaths) accolade for each prestige including 0-70 1st & second prestige. One sniping on wasteland the other two in s&d on favela and highrise.
it's not a bad score but I reckon that 24:1 is a better one.

I can now tube defence spawns on derail, took some practice

Kills *divided by* deaths, highest number is a better score in TDM.

That is also the world famous KDR =O

13:0 doesn't count. Unless you can divide by zero o.0
but youre right. 24:1 > 13:0
that said do you think (not mathematically) 24:1 > than say 40:4, if that's TDM you've got more than 50% of your teams score for only 5% of the possible deaths on your team.

..... I have no idea where I am going with this.

edit: would you prefer a score of 24:1 or 40:4 in TDM?

Yeah, I see what you mean. Maybe that theory is only valid up to a certain numer of kills, you could do some calculations on this but I CBA right now =P

Neither can I at the moment. And it was 5% not .05 I forgot to mentally x it by 100. Thinking is too hard, it must be bedtime. I'll think of a way to calculate it tomorrow but it probably won't make sense. Math was never my strong suit in school

Ok, let's try it here quickly:

To win, your team has to get 75 kills in total (7500 points, 100 per kill). If a player gets 40 kills, it will give the team 4000 points which is 53% of the team's total kills. So you said that player gets only 4 deaths, which is 400 points to the other team. Lets just consider it being a 1v1, it'll make things simpler. At this point i the score will be 4000-400.

If a player gets 24 kills (= 2400 points), it's 32% of the team's kills. Getting one death will give the other team 100 points.

Now the score between those two players and their respective scores is:

Player one (40 kills-4 deaths) - 4000 + 100 = 4100

Player two (24 kills-1 death) - 2400 + 400 = 2800

From this we can see that player one dies once every 10 kills, and player two dies once every 24 kills. Lets try adding some kills.

Player one will be 50-5, then 60-6, then 70-7 etc. (considering he maintains the 4:1 ratio).
Player two will be 24-1, 48-2, 72-3, etc. (considering he maintains the 24:1 ratio)

So lets take 60-6 and 48-2 and do the same thing as before.

Player one: 6000 + 200 = 6200

Player two: 4800 + 600 = 5400

Now lets take 70-7 and 72-3

Player one: 7000 + 300 = 7300

Player two: 7200 + 700 = 7900

Now we can see that Player two would win the match, in a 1v1 situation. In 6v6 I'd say that it would go to player one's team, considering all the other players on that team.

I think I was editing it while you wrote this, try give it another look, I added some stuff. They're just examples, and using percentages it would just make it more complicated.

I know, I just did it to show that Player two would eventually surpass Player one. You can just consider that a 7500 instead of a 7900. The question is: when a player will surpass the other; if it'll be too late or not (before or after the other player has reached 7500 points).

Has anyone else tried to get a quick long range kill in the first few seconds of the game on highrise?

My favorite is the alley in Favela. If you start at the bottom of the hill you can run there switch to shotgun and pick one or two off as they round the corners. At the top of the hill crouch behind the wall on the south side and watch the door of the brick house and the corner, easy to get two or three kills there. Just move out after or you will get hunted down!

My other is sub base, when you start in the northwest corner you can sprint around and crouch behind the tank out side of the first garage bay, 9 times out of ten someone will apper in the garage opening to the right of the tank.

I had a TI-88. I elected business maths at school, not pure, I can't do calculus
All I used my calculator for anyway was for playing tetris during class. Ahh memories.

BOT:
Highrise is collateral heaven alright. Sometimes to beat snipers I just empty a mag of m16 into the window
