Broken Game or Broken Community?

A lot of people, mainly cod4 vets are going on and on about how mw2 sucks, and everyone should just go back to cod4. Honestly, i think that is pretty much one of the dumbest ideas ever. the game is not broken IMO, i mean sure the models are over-powered and the matchmaking is broken. but everything else that is being cried foul over is community-based, like the javelin glitch, started by glitchers. private/public matches, started by glitchers. speed glitch, also started by glitchers. its not the game that honestly broken, its the players, there's no way to fix that, its not different in cod4 either, there was the 3x frags, jugs, martyrdoms, m16s, and spawn-trapping. where as on mw2, half of those are no longer problems, except painkiller.... but the spawn trapping only exists on highrise IMO, and al ot of the other gripes from cod4 is fixed.

I just see it that to fix a game is not to go back in time, but to progress and go forth in time to see what we as a community can do, and not just be all ignorant and run back because things go different...

What im trying to say though my random babling is that. I really dont think that the game is broken, but rather that the community is close-minded and breaking the game, because we all hate eachother so we do lame stuff to sabotage eachother.

i dont like the game, and i am playing cod4 again,but it's not because i think the game is broken.i just dont like the style of play in mw2.i cant really put my finger on it,but when i play cod4 it's exciting and intense.modern warfare2 imo is boring and and frustrating.now mind you i have a solid 2.00 kdr in mw2,and cod4 is around 1.45 so its not that i suck at the game it just doesnt do it for me.i do play it just about everyday hoping to eventually like the game more.

yeah i know what our saying, how your neither there nor here. i mean yeah mw2's a whole different style, if it doesnt suit you, then play cod4, nothing wrong with that but the people how boycott the game because of stuff that the community does, which happened in cod4 as well. honestly is just being a bit ignorant... i mean im not forcing people to play mw2, there's enough people playing it, its just that IMO how many people react to the game is pretty unlogical and too fast to judge...

MW2's problems are none of the ones that you've listed. Go away until you understand the opposing side's argument.

Both are broken. The game for being one of the most imbalanced pieces of shit in existence and the community for being to idiotic to understand why that is the case.

okay so you say mw2 is imbalanced, i honestly think that cod4 and WAW are more imbalanced, though mw2 does have the 1887's, ill give you that one. but really? cod4's m16? WAW's mp40. and mw2's 1887's. their pretty on par, so you quote of saying it being

I honestly can't believe that the 1887s are your only concern. As I said, the community is stupid and mostly far too inexperienced to realise that they're being conned in most situations.

well yeah campers were in cod4 and WAW, so i dont really care about that. im not on PC< so i cant really relate to that, though apparently he plays on PC, so i guess for him its a major downfall. and the killstreaks, are pretty easy to maintain, if your not selfish and your team isnt stupid....

I rarely find a team that isn't stupid, unless I'm playing with friends.

Something I've been saying, unless I'm playing with friends/good players the game gets boring quickly. If I had CoD4 I'd compare, but that didn't get boring when I played solo. Although it was a new experience for me as I'd never owned an FPS or played online before.

Your right, they weren't added by the community, but who overused them? The knives aren't really 10 feet lunges, the only thing with commando is that u r temp invincible when lunging, and killstreak rewards are countered with lunchers given to you, by the game. Care package is annoying, I'll give you that, and when you say that enemies spawn bhind you, I presume that you mean on those private/pub matches, if your not then, your probably camping your home flag or spawn point which kind of hinders your camping arguement useless... Yeah these aren't added by the community, but they are exploited because people are broken and everyone's too selfish to use a stinger

Well as far as I know, Cod4 has none of those "problems" that you mentioned. You can go back to playing that if you think MW2 is a bad game because of these.

Really? Your gonna be like that? You missunderstoodme. I'm not saying commando is fair, I was correcting you. And accusing u of camping really isn't a insult. Everyone camps a bit, if u say u don't camp at all, ur a liar. And the spawn system in mw2 tries to place players near teammates or away from danger . So of your team is pushing up. And u completely taken over, they'll respawn behind you. I'm not trying to say that u can't use any weapons, u miss understood me yet again, you guys are going on about imbalance, and I'm trying to defend my point that the game's not so broken. I'm not saying I'm right, but because I've taken this point in this debate, I'll stand my ground.
