Hi there, if you want to post again straight after you have done one. Instead of double posting, you can press the edit button to add new info. Even merge the two you have.
Just a tip for you as double posting is usually frowned upon

If IW ever and I mean ever wants to do anything cool before they decide to drop MW2 entirely they should give us a map editor and then add a play list for custom maps. That would be awesome to no end.

I was playing some spec ops last night and thought that the estate in single player/spec ops would be an awesome map. Also the parking lot with nate's and burgertown with the gas station across the street would be pretty cool too.

In single player/spec ops mode there is a huge estate map. If you go into spec ops and under delta select estate takedown and you will see what I mean. The only problem with the map is due to the size of it the only play list it would be good in is GW otherwise there would be too much camping.

Winter Map:

• Winter time in the Alps on multiple closed-car glass-window gondolas in a never endling loop, going high up into a fog covered mountain top. Gondolas are large with enough standing room to walk around somewhat and crouch for cover.

• Two terminals, one at the summit and one at the car park. Team spawn starts at either terminal. Respawning is random.

• Shooting or sniping from each others gondola (both moving towards, crossing, and away form each other) is the basic gist of the game.

• Players can hop on or off gondolas so fighting can continue at the terminals or the snow slopes under the cable paths.

• Players can hop out of gondolas onto cable towers (not easy) and continue sniping from there. You can hop back onto a gondola roof (easier) and re-enter thru a hatch. You die if you fall.

• You can ladder down from a tower to the snow and ride snow mobiles if you can find one to relocate.

• You can grab snow mobiles at the car park and ride up to cable towers or all the way up to the summit terminal. Two snow mobilers can shoot at each other while driving. Gondola passengers can shoot at snow mobilers but not the other way around. You have to dismount a snow mobile before you can fire at a gondola.

• Generator building half way up the mountain slope. Teams can destroy or repair the generator to stop or restart the gondolas.

• Changing weather from clear blue sky to snowing blizard and back again.

u know what will be a good map? a completely flat land, no grass, no nothing, just sand. easy way for iw to earn another 15 bucks.

That's the same as the Estate map in multiplayer. Just the multiplayer version has been modified to be playable online.

Correct. They've added more entrances to the lodge, added a whole back area, and altered the boat house, tool shed and power plant area.

Actually the boat house in the estate take down spec op is exactly the same as the one in the mp map. I swear the just copied and pasted it in. And the house in the estate take down and single player is much bigger plus i like the layout of the surrounding area better than than the estate mp map. There are two entrances down stares; one in back and one in front, on the main floor they have a living room with a bay window like the one in the mp map and it has two entrances; one in front and one to the side of the house. Lastly the upstairs of the house is also larger.

I'd love to see a ghost town. Rundown buildings, some collapsed, some on the verge of it. Multiple floors with holes from rotted wood, which you can fall through and get killed from.

Lots of grassy areas, perfectt for Ghillie Suits. And it'd be around dusk.


And DC after the EMP is a nice idea, too.

-An abandoned hospital or prison, looking dirty and used, but still intact, as if it had to be left in a hurry. Might be set during nighttime for additional creepiness.

-A map set completely in the woods along a slight hillside. It could consist mostly of large trees and bushes to hide in, maybe some sheds or cabins and eventually trenches/tunnels. The sky could be overcast with a bit of fog between the trees.

-On top/inside of an ocean liner, complete with swimming pools, clubs, bars and restaurants.

-Inside/around a metal processing factory, either with that left-in-a-hurry-look or one where the workers just left for ther lunch break. Forklifts and heavy machinery standing around in a kinda dark and gloomy athmosphere (or the opposite), maybe some offices as well.

At first I was going to draw maps and scan them onto here, but my drawing skills are horrible. Super description time... Yay...


Fissure

A small town wrecked by an earthquake. Every building can be entered. There are homes that are split down the middle. Some small with only one floor with a couch, a tv and a kitchen, every one of those rooms are damaged in some way. Other houses are larger and have stairs that require you to jump if you want to get higher. There are attics in some of the larger houses that you can camp in, the attics are extremely small and can fit only two people. There is a small window in the attic to snipe from, approximately the size of that hole in the wall of the building in Skidrow looking down the tunnel. There is a gas station with cars in it, some destroyed, others destroyable. You can blow up the gas tanks. You can enter a small shop by the gas station where bags and newspapers litter the floor. You can go behind the clerks desk. There are shattered windows in the store and homes as well.

There are about ten houses surrounding the area, varying in size. Road blocks prevent you from leaving the map. Some fallen trees are scattered around, mostly by the houses. Most of the map is road, grass is mostly found near the houses and some bushes are around the gas station. A few houses have trees smashed into them that can be climbed on to get to the roof and such. Cracks are all over the ground, some are trench like and can be fallen in to for cover. The map is about the size of two trailer parks. Almost all of it is flat, except for a few trench like cracks and small hills about as tall as two players. Small details: Leaves litter the oustide ground, cracks are large and small scattered every where, there are bent signs, ground is flat, ground is mostly road and grass is mostly near buildings, some patches are by sidewalks, the map is bright and sunny with a few clouds, small fires are by cars and the gas station, and there are some fallen benches and garbage cans.

A field with a hill North and a hill South, both hills are very large. Teams spawn on either side behind cover. Blocks prevent you from going down the far side of either hill. (Far North for the Northern hill. Far South for the Southern hill.) Going down the hills there are cement blocks for cover, these can be climbed over. There is a very large dip between the hills. The distance between the hills is about 100 meters. Fences are set up around the field to prevent you from leaving the map. The width of the field is about 150 meters. Snipers dominate this map. The ground is grass. Not much else to say. :P

Paradox: I like the first idea, but the second one doesn't seem too good.

It seems like everyone would camp on the hilltops all game. But that's just me.
