MW2 is not the game to have a guilty conscience in. Usually you have to go with the extremes you're given.

I'd suggest this if your a glass and scope sniper just because the follow to on target is easier

Barrett .50cal w/ silencer and thermal (I'd suggest a WA2000 however)
Raffica w/ silencer and red dot
Bling Pro
Cold Blooded Pro
Steady Aim Pro
Claymores
Flashbangs

I been having tons of fun using this set up recently and it is sort of scout/sniper set up as you can keep on the move without any major disadvantage and wont show up on uav or HB sensors.

M21 EBR + Thermal
Striker
Scavenger Pro
Cold blooded
Ninja

Tactical insertion
Stun Nades

Only been using it for domination but I have managed to use it effectively on all maps. The TI is great for rushing B as you just drop it near by so if you die defending iyou can get back quickly. TI is way underused imo. I use the striker for any cqc and can take long shots using the sniper. I tend to just actively camp moving from one place to another but staying near my TI. So many times someone got the jump on me only for me to spawn right near them and get the jump on them. Also Striker just pwns and I'm working towards extended mags at the moment.

Obviously you can swap thermal for a normal scope, just make sure you double tap shoot when using the sniper as unless its a head shot its not one hit kill.

Just wow, can people possibly come up with any worse sniper setups please?
How on earth can people ever suggest to use crap like this. Seriously what the fuck.
Im gonna throw up if I see one more person silence a barrett, it's like buying a Ferrari & restricting its engine to 90km/h - 50mph.

Intervention FMJ with Fall Camo (Intervention for style points, fall camo for >9000 style points)
Raffica for OPness (Yes you pronounce that out loud)
Stuns
Semtex

SoH
SP
Steady Aim? Idc too much tbh

Same setup with the barrett if you want to be all technical about the 'best' sniper lawl.

I use:

Barret 50. cal (silenced) - non hardcore stick FMJ on.
M9 /w tactical knife
Claymore
Smoke

Marathon Pro
Cold-blooded (don't know if its pro lol :S)
Ninja Pro

I definately prefer the tact. knife and pistol to any machine pistol.
Also, since your asking about a DEATHMATCH, perhaps change the claymore to throwing knife or semtex or something.

Also, the problem with WA2000 is tht it's scope is massive, and it blocks a lot of the screen when you are not zoomed in. Barret has high fire rate, is powerful and doesn't block the screen.

You're doing it wrong.

Hardcore should be M21 EBR, even higher fire rate and the same power.
