Default Best scout sniper class setup?

I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I am curious what your thoughts are as the best setup to play with as a scout sniper on hardcore team death match.

Setup 1:
Barrett .50cal with silencer
PP2000 with silencer
Scavenger Pro
Cold Blooded Pro
Ninja Pro
Claymores
Flashbangs

Setup 2:
Barrett .50cal with silencer
PP2000 with silencer
SOH Pro
Cold Blooded Pro
Steady Aim Pro
Claymores
Flashbangs

Setup 3:
Barrett .50cal with silencer and fmj's
PP2000 with silencer and fmj's
Bling Pro
Cold Blooded pro
Ninja Pro
Claymores
Flashbangs

Setup 4:
Barrett .50 cal with silencer and thermal
PP2000 with silencer and fmj's
Bling Pro
Cold Blooded Pro
Ninja Pro
Claymores
Flashbangs

These are the ones I have been running recently. I have really enjoyed the slight of hand class when I am more mobile sniping, and the scavenger when I'm camping. I know the gun is gonna be up to personal opinion I am on the Barrett right now to finish up the challenges. When I am done I am moving on the list to the WA2000. Also the Rafica is a nice side arm as well.

You should post this in the Create-A-Class thread. It already serves as a discussion thread where people post their favorite classes, and opinions on other user's classes.

http://www.modernwarfare2forum.com/m...ss-thread.html

As for your post, there isn't anything to complain about, your classes are set up nicely and you are basically to invisible to enemies not looking directly at you.

I would opt to switch out Flash grenades for Stuns, as you can throw them faster, and your enemies will have a more narrow line of fire on you then being able to just spray randomly and get lucky with Flashbangs. That alone should make a difference, especially when playing Hardcore game-types.

One recommendation is when you get your Barrett done, I recommend using the M21 EBR, since it has the most "controllable" recoil when firing.

i'd definitely say use the M21 EBR when you can (for HC game modes).

On smaller maps put an ACOG on it but on most maps normal sight is fine with silencer.

then probably Sleight Of Hand Pro, Cold Blooded Pro, Ninja Pro

as for secondary, I briefly used my M9 with tac knife before I prestiged. Now i'd be tempted to use a shotgun if I am honest, Spas12 or M1014. My default would be a silenced pistol though. (plus it helps you get towards your tac knife attachment)

Fucking terrible. Use SP instead of CB and use a WA2000 instead of the Barrett. You won't get any kills.

That's ViS's way of saying that those classes are great.

Scout sniper? Marathon, lightweight, ninja, unsuppressed WA2000, and a suppressed... er, some machine pistol of your choice. Probably the G18.

Is there really any maps where a "scout sniper" would be any good, except Derail?

Here's the top snipers kits; SNIPER RIFLE (normally intervention or .50), Side arm of their choice (M93 Raffica is mine - silenced) - Stun or Flash doesnt matter - Throwing knife or claymore.
THey use these perks
Sleight of Hand Pro
Stopping Power (doesnt HAVE to be pro)
Ninja Pro or Steady Aim Pro (I do Search And Destroy quick scoping and sniping, so I use Ninja... if you dont do SnD though - I think I'd use Steady Aim Pro more)

Don't put stopping power on, they didn't read that you said hardcore team death match...I'd keep coldblooded on.

Your classes are pretty good, except I probably wouldn't silence my secondary...much rather have red dot on it, or fmj

Eh, on hard core throw on Cold Blooded... You're right I didnt notice that / remember after reading all the other posts.

Although I would take silencer off the sniper... In my opinion. If it works for you though, keep it...

Take Note: He is using these classes for HC Team Deathmatch...

Edit: as for the Classes, dont use barret in HC, the esiest sniper to get kills with is the M21. Try this for camp mode:

M21 Silenced
Akimbo Rafficas
Claymore
Smoke(depends on map)

Scavenger
Coldblooded
Ninja

As for the deathstreak, use Final stand like evryone else in HC

thermal instead of silencer

you're not gonna show up on a radar on hardcore cuz surprise, aint one

thermal is better because you would be surprised at the places people try to hide on hardcore mode

especially on maps like overpass... plus on afghan you can see into the bunkers from the cliff and into the cave from the bunkers

Actually there are alot of uav from killstreaks and drop boxes in this game type. Also it reduces the sound and the muzzle flash if your trying to be stealthy. So in my opinion a silencer is a must for this game type.

ok well the first thing wrong with your classes is that the 50. cal sucks, its overated and still underpowered. if the 50. cal was anything like it really is, u could miss a person by 2-3 feet and still kill them with just energy coming off the bullet.

so the sniper rifles that you need to be using are in this order......

1. Intervention-the most powerful gun of the snipers, extremely accurate but you have to be at least decent to use it.

2. M21- good gun, accurate, and pretty much a replica of the m21 in cod4

3. Wa2000- pretty good gun. i never use it, its pret much the m21 but not as powerful.

4. barret 50. cal- SUX!!

NOW..before anybody posts or sends me messages tellin me how the 50 cal is the best, this is just my opinion. so dont get butt-hurt

lol wut? if you're talking about HC m21 is the best, but if you're talking about non Hc modes, the barret is a beast, although the intervention is cooler.

The only really good attachments ive found are fmj and sometimes thermal, i focus too much on heartbeat sensors and i cant see how you can snipe with a silencer without camping or playing hardcore.

edit: feel free to prove me wrong with a video though
