I'm actually fine with it the way it is. In fact, I've managed a kdr >1 when using it solo (ie no friends w/ me to help) many times. If it can absorb fire from a .50 cal, Harrier, Mounted Turrets, etc. then it is already useful enough as it is. Although, I think having your callsign on the black part of the shield would be sweet.

Though you know the one thing I hate about riot shields is the abilitly to throw a knife withint a split second, that can be really annoying.

maybe extra health in exchange for the secondary weapon only for riot shields? I mean, riot shields are meant for distracting and taking fire so why not extra health? Though...reason i say take away secondary weapon cause last thing we need is a Juggernaut shotgun wielder or Pp2000
