do you mean to put the xbox 360 through a computer monitor?

Computer monitors have been "HD" since the '90s. You can find a good, high-res one for the fraction of a price of a TV screen.

This isn't my area of expertise and at the risk of sounding like a complete and utter retard I will say this: I have several HD telies at home and a decent computer monitor. What I require is a capturing device, I wouldn't want to get a standard def one as I would imagine that the price of HD ones would decrease as the technology developes. I would buy "acquire" fraps if I had MW2 on PC and my computer had a teeny bit more ram and a better gpu.
