i don't like the graphics on bfbc2,the player movement is pretty sluggish,i think the first battlefield was more polished, that being said, i still like the game, and i still like mw2(haven't played in almost 2 months ) but cod4 mops the floor with both of them

Indeed, its as useless shit as I like MW2, that was the point, and yes its useless but there was more in my post, didn't you even read it?

I've never played any of the Bad company games, but I am getting a lend of the game before I go buy it, even though their is a demo so I'm told, I would rather play the full version, I will reply to this thread once I have played the game.

Having now played the full game, I stand by my earlier comments that a direct comparison is redundant as these two games are very different things. People may prefer one over the other, but they are two different styles of FPS and are not trying to deliver the same experience.

IMO, EAs marketing dept has done a great job of getting a great deal of free advertising by getting the media and gamers out there to compare it with MW2, mostly through the digs they make at IW and Activision. Unfortunately though, its misleading - its like saying Super Metroid is a better platformer than Super Mario Bros. Sure, they are both platform games but thats pretty much the only thing they have in common.. the experience they deliver is totally different.. same with MW2 and BF:BC2.

I haven't played a lot so far but will have a proper go tomorrow. I find sniping to definitely suit me more as the other roles do not seem to translate well to a "lone wolf" kind of play style, which I play because I dont have a group of friends to squad with, nor would I want to organise that. But it is what the game is clearly designed around.

I still prefer MW2 in general from that perspective, in that you can be effective on your own, but sniping is far more involved in BC2 and, from what Ive experienced so far, is almost a game in itself.

Gotta love being revived by a medic though

It's so much better than MW2 because fucktards can't quick scope/noscope you from ages away because you have to account for "gravity" which is really just a gimmick and isn't hard to judge once you get the hang of it but it does seperate those who can shoot from those who can't. and I can shoot. My best game as recon so far has been 30 kills 0 deaths.

Also I actually love how it is a one hit kill to the head only and the fact that they're not hit scans (afaik)

and what are you doing up @ 1:20 am nibbles?

I'll yell you why bfbc2 owns mw2, yesterday I joined game and played for 3 hours straight. During that time there was no lag, disconnects, host migrations, lobby bs and no glitchers. Also its would be almost impossible to camp on this game as your camping spot will just blown the fuck up after a few minutes

I love this game and don't think I'll be playing mw2 again. Also the non prestige thing is a good thing in my eyes
