Default So - do the COD4 maps translate well?

I'm a PS3 user and still weighing up whether or not to give IW more of my hard earned money in the coming weeks. So, to all you lucky (?) x-box users who bought the DLC.....
There was some worry that COD4 maps wouldn't translate well primarily due to the changes in air support for MW2. How are people finding them? Do they fit in well or stand out for being better/worse than the mw2 maps?

Crash with thermal is probably broken. It means that a B rush is simply out of the question.

They took out most of the DARK shadows, like in the barn in Overgrown, to combat the lack of NVG in the multiplayer of this game. As of yet I haven't even seen any big airsupport on the COD4 maps. It's probably just because I'm not amazing.

I haven't given them much of a chance yet, but i didn't like overgrown too much for some reason. I didn't like Crash for the exact reason that ViS stated.

I would say so far I haven't seen any problems with the new maps that I can really complain about. They do feel different for sure, but like what others have stated it's hard to say exactly what yet. I haven't ran into any perks or equipment that seems to give a player an unfair advantage or anything like that. The maps, even though they are the same size, feel smaller now as to how they felt in COD4. I think it's just that you move slightly faster in MW2, plus people use Marathon and Lightwight a lot so of course that makes you quicker. I still like Crash a lot and I'm glad it's in the Stimulus. Also if I had to say one thing about all the new maps is that they are way more SMG and shotgun friendly. Now, I'm not talking about Ranger or Models or anything like that when I mean being more shotgun friendly; it just seems that shotguns like the M1014 and the AA-12 are very effective in the new maps.

Very true indeed... Snipers on the building accross from it or 3rd story building.

OMALOL will wreck havoc on this map.
