Similar to jclark198's "I hate when..."; just fill in a simple rule, tactic or trick to staying alive and winning the match.

Here are some of mine:

-If your whole team is in one spot and you don't hear any gun fire, you're about to be flanked
-If you see an enemy predator missle run as far from your teammates as possible, one death is better than three
-If you've killed five or six guys from one spot, you should move cause you just pissed off the whole team
-Sentary guns kill what ever is infront of them, so if you're gonna take it out, do it from behind
-A harrier/attack helicopter/pavelow make for great distractions, after calling one in be on the look out for anyone looking at the sky
-If the score is 7300 to 7100 and your team is winning, don't run out trying to get the last kill, thats a great way to loose the match

I will be the one to die anyways so 1 death is valid

-If you've killed five or six guys from one spot, you should move cause you just pissed off the whole team

I'll stay they will keep dying, yeah claymore!

I usually hide until i get CG or AC130

-If the score is 7300 to 7100 and your team is winning, don't run out trying to get the last kill, thats a great way to loose the match

Dont stand in doorways.
If you are getting raped by a chopper, shoot it down.
Don't use Commando
Don't spray with LMGs
Dont use HBS
Get killed by people doing one of the above
Get pissed of with lag
Rage quit

Race for first blood - in my opinion this just has to be done. you have to really know the choke points of each map obviously. I actually start every game (apart from SnD) with my UMP running class to make up the ground and I reckon more often than not I get the first kill and quite often get a good little streak going right at the start of the game.

Then after I get killed I change back to whatever class suits the game type / map / my mood!

-Don't use commando with a riot sheild, if you lunge and miss(which you WILL), it leave you open to the magical 180 degree knife attack

-When an enemy predator missile comes, stay with your teammates, because the dumb cocksucker has no brain, and only goes for the one trying to get away

-Never reload, that's when they'll teleport to you and knife you

-If you see a guy holding a claymore, don't knife him from in front

-Don't shoot the stinger missile at the Harrier until it comes to a full stop, lest it deploys its magical invisible flares

-Don't run into dark doorways

-Aim the air strike AWAY from you

-If a grenade lands next to you, ATTEMPT to run away, unlike most people

-Don't fire Javelins indoors

-Don't go outdoors when an enemy killstreak is in the air

Couldn't agree more with this.

Also:

-You can't cook a simtex so stop trying
-C4 won't stick to an enemy or his riot shield, once again, stop trying
-try and be aware of where the battle is taking place cause throwing a stun/flash/smoke grenade in a building filled with your own guys isn't helping the situation one bit.

.........then how the hell am I going to get avenger kills and the extra xp?

even better is flash yourself in hardcore, fall to the ground and start spraying.....when you're surrounded by teammates.

There is only one rule: everyone lags significantly. lead all shots by at least 5 feet.

nice suggestions-about the enemy killlstreak rewards:
if u use cold-blooded as soon as u hear harrier,pave low or anything else coming ,take out your stinger and destroy it before it kills your teammates

if not ,go indoors and wait until it leaves or gets destroyed.DON'T try to shoot it with your gun cause u need at least 3 magazines to shoot it down and meanwhile u just attract it's attention!!

It works the other way too.

-if you hear the sound of a nuke about to go off don't just assume the game is over. If the score is close enough you can still win in the amount of time before it goes off and really piss off the guy who got the nuke. Very satisfying if i say so myself.

I dont know about working on everything, but it works like a mutha effen champ on lagging. Bonus points for breaking a controler, mouse, or keyboard.

Not if to say the scores in a TDM are something like 7100 to 6900.

The guy on the 6900 team calls the nuke, and someone on the opposite team gets five kills before the nuke detonates.

If the other team calls a Nuke i'm pretty sure you always lose, score or no score.

When your walking down the street and a gang of thugs come up to you threatening you with guns and waving their knives around. Just start jumping constantly while you run away and you will be impervious to any attack they can throw at you.

1. Always remember that while others may be able to magically lunge through your bullets and knife you, you are unable to do the same.
2. If you get mad at campers, then they win.
