Default Which primary weapon(s) suffers the least from being attached with a silencer?
I'm trying to use a stealth class (whatever for the first perk, Cold-Blooded and Ninja) and a silencer on the primary and secondary weapon.

However the silencer weakens the gun so I'm trying to figure out which gun is the best to use with a silencer and cold-blooded?

i say tar21

high damage regardless, high rate of fire, silencer decreases visual recoil?

thats what i use btw =]

IMO the Tar, UMP, and either the WA2K or M21 are okay with a silencer. I haven't used the two snipers but the other two I can say are awesome.

oh i didn't comprehend your post, i thought you said that silencer on the m21ebr and the wa2k was OK, and oyu didn't try it on the intervention and barret. hence my post
I find silencers good on the Tar, UMP, AK-47, SCAR-H, FAMAS (sorta), M16A4 (Sorta), M21 EBR, WA2k, and the PP2k

ARs are okay to have silencers with but the long-range damage will get annoying once you have to shoot multiple times to kill an enemy. And also blub your sig is just a scam, plus really the map packs cost only $15...

well i'm keeping it there for now

Yikes! ACR? the only thing that gun has going for it is its zero recoil, making it effective long-range. The silencer is gonna take away the tiny amount of power it already has at long-range and make it take longer to take out those guys far away...

and with the FAMAS it has a way shorter range for 2 bullet kill instead of 3
teh EBR and Wa2k definitely benefit more than the ACR or FAMAS

can somebody tell me if the ACR silenced is actually any good? because on paper it sounds like a nightmare with its already-low dps...

ACR silenced is amazing.


In the singleplayer campaign where it does like 2-3x the damage.


(I don't recommend it)

Ump is best. With a silencer attached it does 35 damage after the reduction for range, which makes the gun a 3 hit kill. No other full auto weapon is a 3 hit kill at long ranges.

Famas is weak with silencer and without SP because at mid to long range it's a 4 hit kill which doesn't work well with a 3 shot burst gun.

weapons that are 3 bullet kills at long range with silencer:

All Snipers
All LMGS
Holo FAL
Stopping powered: FAMAS, M16A4, AK-47, SCAR-H
and more probably..
