quite honestly, predators don't hit me as much as I'd probably claim. Many don't go for me. Use buildings, don't go out in lots of open space... easy to avoid. Obviously if you're in the open they're gonna go for you. Many times the first red square they see will be the one they go for, they won't bother looking around the map for a group that might be off to the side... for harriers, if you get killed, switch to your air support class and take it down immediately. be of some use to your team.

I'd be willing to bet that not all predators hit you, pay more attention, you probably just don't care or notice the ones that don't hit you.

The test is useless... people aren't intentionally going for you. Your playstyle sounds like you're out in the open a lot or near friends, and your friend probably likes buildings. Or its a great coincidence. There's no reason that 84 would go for you and 20 would go for your friend if you both did the same exact thing.

So. Last night i discovered how to kill people with the Pred
I quite often score no kills but last night I opened the laptop and the millisecond the Pred launched, I got emp'd and the laptop screen went fuzzy before I even looked at it. As I was running off cursing the fact I had again failed to kill anyone with the damn thing....Boom Triple kill. WTF! From now on, as soon as I open the case I am closing my eyes.

I don't believe it. 84 out of 100 called in? I really don't believe it. Everyone exaggerates how much they get hit by Predators.

Also, the "bad timing" thing is not a curse. It is just a result of risky gameplay. If you want to throw a flashbang in the wide open and expose yourself to gunfire, thats the risk you run. I always try to throw my flashes from behind cover.

It's called being a team player. An enemy killstreak is called in, i usually kill myself if im not on a streak or at least change to my AA class so next time i die i get my stinger and take it out. Doesn't mean you should be running around with this class....

try going in hardcore and whenever you see an predator kill any teammate in your sight. Should make you less of an aim for the predator D:


Or simply just run away from your teammates. or stay on the enemies spawn

Bad timing is horrible luck. I mean, its not about throwing a flashbang. It's that...well sorto f. Lets say there is a wall in between u and the enemy (fig 1). you want to throw the flashbang so it bounces off of wall A and goes to the enemy. But when pulling the pin, he decides to pop around the corner and kill you. Luck.

I really only have bad luck with the harriers, preds barely ever chase me, but I ALWAYS die by the harriers before anyone else, it's strange.

Yeah that is why airsupport is retarded, it kills the players that are actually good, rather than the retards that are 3-14 and still running around.

I knew what you were saying the whole time. Why, with an enemy 10 feet from you, would you leave yourself vunerable to fire? Because you want to take the risk of being vunerable to fire with the possible reward of having a blinded enemy for an easy kill.

It still isn't bad luck, its bad decision making if you get killed while pulling the pin.

Flashbangs are meant to clear rooms/areas. You throw them into a room, preferably with someone watching the doorway, and clear the ememies. Of course flashbangs are going to leave you vunerable. If you want to be safe while using them, either have teammate support or don't throw them if an enemy could easily run up on you while pulling the pin. Problem solved.

I read this and had immediate déjà vu. But it's even worse with me. Say I'm in a game and there are other players. One or more of the players will start shooting at me. I'm not talking about random shots. They actually try to hunt me down and KILL me! The weird thing is if one of them kills me often enough they get all these weird powers like being able to summon boxes out of the sky, or being able to call in these aircraft. And get this... the summoned aircraft ALSO TRY TO KILL ME! I mean wtf? I see the aircraft hovering... so I try to approach it. You know...to declare peace. BUT THEN IT SHOOTS AT ME! God this game SUCKS!!!

p.s. I'm being sarcastic...

I don't have a huge problem with this, but the last few days I've been killed by pred missiles that are aiming for someone else, and right at the last second, when it's going to get a kill anyways, it switches and goes after me. Never understood the thinking behind that.......

I Agree on the whole grenades thing, I seem to get killed by grenades from across the map a lot. Ac130 loves me lol i used clod-blooded and still get killed, by myself, in an open area.
