I was playing Headquarters Pro last night and I checked my K/D and there were 7 guys on the opposing team! This must have been some kind of glitch that I've never heard of, because there is no Ground War Headquarters.

Wtf, I keep accidentally hitting the enter key while I'm typing the thread

You think that was weird. I was put into a game of demolition where most of the people got d/c'd when the game was about to start, and I had to play the whole damn match 1v6. I still went positive and held them off for a while, but yeah... rofl.

Played an entire Cap The Flag match 2v6 once and finished with the most kills

Seen 7v5 happen a couple of times. Usually ends up with someone being kicked I think.

Yeah I started the match killing all of them. OFC since it was Demo it didn't matter they just kept coming and finally caught me in a bad spot lmao.

This happens because there's uneven numbers of teams/players - Like if 2 groups of 4 join, and a group of 3, the group of 3 and 4 will be set together, Which ends up in a 5v7 match

Last night I entered a FFA match and there were 2 teams of 4. I had to double check the stats board to make sure I was in FFA and sure enough I was. There must be a matchmaking glitch on PS3 at the moment.

I haven't seen it on MW2 yet, but it has happened to me several times on COD4.

When I have joined a game, usually when I have a pretty bad connection incidentally, sometimes I start lagging straight away and I don't get auto-assigned into a team. From here I have the choice of which team to join no matter if it is full.

I never played CoD4. Only other CoD game I ever played was CoD2. Don't feel so bad

I once entered what I thought was Ground War and I was dumped into a 9v9 Hardcore Headquarters.

Yep, I played SnD 7v5 once and played a Domination game where when people left, they weren't replaced so the game ended in a 6v1 situation.

I've seen that happen before when I join a server where someone is using the console to change gametypes. Like, in one game we played Demolition and then they changed it to HARDCORE Demolition for their turn on Offense (I guess they felt it would be easier for them to get entry kills)
