i used the p90 fot the first time since ive had mw2 and im like 3rd prestige, i must of played like 9 games and i got 350+ kills this gun is amazing anf i just wodered in all the time ive played mw2 why havent i seen people using it, theres literally hardly anyonme useing it, which is insane cause its so good.

sp whats yout views on this gun,subs in general and why people use such a limimited amount of weapons in this game because ill try everything out allthough i do have preferances i still use everything.(except Riot shield) i dont see the point in that.

Well, personally, I don't really like sub machine guns. The UMP .45 is the only exception because it is a great gun to silence, and to have if you want 100% speed.

I have to agree with you i really like the p90, but the ump has a large clip as well and the slower rate of fire makes it easier to shoot at long range, with less recoil. I think the only reason the p90 isn't more popular is just because it falls under the shadow of the ump, p90 is definitely a strong second place though as far as im concerned.

Also the p90 iron sight is really bad which makes it hard to use without red dot, and FMJ rapes on the p90. Also i find that when you put a silencer on the p90 it seems to really suffer in range and accuracy, where the ump does not.

If you haven't tried the vector it is actually a really good gun, even though its got crazy high rate of fire, its the steadiest SMG with almost no recoil.

UMP can barely be considered a smg. p90 is awesome. use it more and youll see youll be called a p90 noob. because people dont know wtf to do when a billion bullets are flyin in their face. its accuracy is not that much of an issue unless youre talkin about long range. but who uses an smg long range. its clipsize is good, its ROF is good. If i needed an smg, i would NOT pick the UMP. anything but actually.

I used the p90 a shitload last prestige and you will pwn if you can get your peppering down for the medium/long range shots. (if youre confused about peppering, its like burst fire but you take single shots really quickly to reduce recoil between each shot)

UMP is an SMG. Face the facts. It acts like an AR, everyone knows, but it IS in the SMG category, and you do get 100% speed.
and really if you want to dominate with an SMG at short range, the MP5K dominates with rapid fire. You can even beat shotguns (sometimes)

Then you talk about long range. That's what the UMP is amazing at. ...

I use the P90 frequently. It's pretty good silences, high fire rate and decent power make it easy to use. Most classes are an abundance of assault rifles though. Most assault rifles in the game have little to no recoil, and are powerful. The TAR-21's relatively high fire rate and decent hip fire spread make it a combatant for SMG users, and a few bursts across the map can take out snipers.

Assault rifles are the go-to guns of choice for most people. The most effective SMG for close-quarters-combat would definitely be the MP5K. A good number of SMG users are UMP users, and we all know how close the UMP is to being an assault rifle.

P90 is... eh.

I can't use the thing without stopping power; and being a rate of fire reliant gun, it has the problem of being weak and being a slow killer. UMP .45 is just... better. And the assault rifles, too.

that's why the UMP is basically an AR. We all know that the UMP is an SMG, thanks for the update... this is about the P90. Obviously the UMP is a bit better but he was saying at close range the P90 owns, which is true...

The P90 is for my rushing. Up-close and personal. It's a great gun to spray, fast rate of fire, and can take down multiple enemies in a single magazine. Those are basically the only reasons I use it.

P90 is fun but I will always prefer to equip a silenced UMP. The Vector is also very cool but it just takes too many bullets to kill someone.

When I did all akimbo SMGs the P90 was awesome... so much fun and lulz, and the way it looked. its rather large for an SMG so dual-wield is funny

I used the P90 a lot actually... I got red tiger with it actually. I just got bored of it. It's decent, but the UMP is better in every respect (except ROF and magazine size)

SMGs are good for maps like Rust, Highrise and Scrapyard or any other CQB map. I prefer ARs for larger maps, ebacuse they normally have better power and range.

for some reason i've seen a couple people in this thread refer to the higher ROF on the p90 as a good thing, i actually prefer lower ROF guns, i find they have less recoil and feel better. The scar, AK-47, ump, tar are all lower ROF guns compared to M4, ACR, f2000 etc etc. I would say low ROF is better.

I never use the P90 because I always use the Vector. It's just a fun gun to use.
It'll feel weak at first but if you're a sharp shooter you'll see that it drops 'em fast.

The only reason I don't use the P90 anymore is because I hate the iron sights. It is a great hipfire weapon, but the irons on the Uzi and Vector are so much better that I would rather use those incase I need to pull off a kill at range.

I'd take the Vector over the P90 any day... it has the same damage per bullet (effectively, both 30 and 25 mean 4 bullets to kill), while having BOTH better accuracy and higher ROF. In essence, it will always kill faster. That it will run through its clips way faster too isn't as much of a problem to me.

ALSO, low ROF does not mean low recoil AT ALL! I lawled when I read that btw.
acr, m4a1, vector, HIGH ROF, LOW RECOIL.

scar, ak-47 and tar have quite high recoil when compared to other guns. just in case you were confused.

P90 is a decent rapidfire gun for close range maps as well. The large clips mean I don't need to equip extended mags or use scavenger either.

That said, I do prefer the Vector, its my fave SMG right now. I just hate the iron sights for the damn thing for some reason.

The P90 is BAD in this game, just like it was in CoD4. It's outclassed at doing SOMETHING by all other SMGs and EVERYTHING by the UMP.

to be honest out i used to use the ump and mp5k when i used smgs which is alot of the time cause i like to rush the ump was just something nice and diffrent to use so i thought id give it ago and i was pleasently surprised
