Just wondering what everyone's prefered sight is.

I'd have to say, besides the sniper sight, he ACOG scope is best for me with most guns. My favorite red dot is the one for the F2000, but other than that i don't really care for the red dot since they changed it from COD4.

Honestly, other than sniper, I prefer iron sights over RDS/Holo/ACOG/Thermal. RDS would be my second favorite site.

I don't know, killing a guy across the map with the iron sights just feels good.

Oh i know just what you mean. When i had a silent runner class i had a silencer on my Ump 45 and an iron sight and i got pretty damn good with it. It does give you more of a challenge and a larger rewarding feeling when you get a guy with it.

Last thing about the Holo. I never did like that sight so maybe i blocked it out of my head and forgot to list it in the poll. If thats the sight you prefer just list it in the comments.

I used M16, strictly iron sights. When I say that, people look at me weird, I don't know why.

I Like ACOG on some guns (LMGs, the FAL and the P90 for example) but everything else is holo all the way. I don't really like RDS, I prefer ironsights (unless it's an MG4 or Mini Uzi)

Tar 21 no ifs ands or buts for irons
I think the ACR looks good with RDS.
Holo is meh in general.
ACOG is pretty cool IMO on anything although maybe not effective.
Thermal is just ghey

Overall I prefer a Red Dot Sight (excluding on the TAR and M16.. I use the Holo for both of those since the MARS sight takes up too much real estate and the lesser recoil on the M16 is nice).


I still like the Iron Sights ok, but on most guns I find that I flick to people better with a RDS.

Most guns have good iron sights if you're used to them. of the assault rifles, the M4, Famas, especially the SCAR, and the Tar have good iron sights. The M-16's are pretty good, but I think the holographic is its best sight. The UMP and the RPD have pretty good sights as well. The AK's sights are alright, but it kicks like a bitch and kinda blocks the target. I haven't used the other guns to much of an extent.

Generally the rds and holo make the target a little more visible, but usually aren't necessary. I've noticed that as I played more that I'd sacrifice a precision sight for some other attachment. If I see the person I can generally hit them regardless of the sight because I know where they are and where the gun is shooting.

If you've ever tried to ADS at someone with the AT4... then you know obstructive sights. Jeez, that thing might as well have a metal plate blocking your vision completely... I hate the RDS on the AK47 btw with the way it has red dot and irons combined.

Nice! I couldn't figure out how to do it. I felt like a horses ass for leaving it off.

I like seeing how many people prefer iron over anything else. It adds more challenge to the formula. If you can kill a guy across a map with iron sights you're bad ass thats all there is to it.

holo is my favorite for all guns other than snipers. I use either scope for sniper and I don't like one above the other.

Holographic and ACOG are epic, not to mention the Quick scope capabilities of the ACOG

The one that works best for the gun. I like rds on famas/mp5k, holo on tar/m16/fal, sniper on all snipers, but i like ironsights more on almsot all guns.
