Default new map pack
hey guys, last night i downloaded the map pack stimulus package then went to bed without playing it. so when i came home today i fancied playing it until it said i didnt have it. so i downloaded it again, installed etc then went onto the game and tried to play it and it still wont let me. what is going on? ive downloaded it 3 times and it still wont work.

please somebody help???

First of all this is the wrong section, this section is for discussing strategies, features etc......

you post game issues here: Modern Warfare 2 Technical Issues - Modern Warfare 2 Forum: Free Call of Duty MW2 Community

Are you on PC ?

If you are, then go to your Steam game library and right click on MW2, then click on "properties", then go the "local files" tab and click on "verify integrity of game cache"

Wait until it is 100% completed, then try starting the game again.

are you playing on PC or Ps3?

and i really hope this hasn't happened to anyone else. have you contacted the download centre about it? PSN, Steam?

lol doesnt suprise me...
when it came out for XBox you couldnt even play for most of the day. Ohhhh and before that xbox live decided to take 20 microsoft points from me after it confirmed the download... went from 800 points to 780 points by clicking confirm download and didnt get the download. So i spent most of my day on the phone talkin to customer service people that dont speak a lick of english. The first SOB hung up on me... the second after an hour wait got me fixed up and gave me enough points to Download it again. They said they were going to refund my 20 points but didnt...

If you're on PS3 make sure you download the right pack for your game code.
