No you're right, only quickscoping in 'pro' games will get you nowhere. However, because I am constantly quickscoping in pub games I am a much better sniper all-round and when playing for the win I decimate other snipers who hardscope only. No doubt quick scoping requires some skill, especially when you compare it to those who can only "hard scope" but thats still a small amount of skill compared to the large amount of luck it takes to be successful at quick scoping. The only conclusion I can come to is either:
A) You tried, sucked at it, didn't bother to keep at it and labelled it as lucky because you couldn't do it.
B) You play on PC, where quickscoping is much harder though still a skill which you can become consistent at.

Unless you have put in a decent amount of playtime (maybe around 24 hours worth) of absolutely nothing but quickscoping, your statement that it is based on luck has no worth at all.
