How often do you guys find yourself picking up dead guys' guns? For any reason at all? Out of ammo, better gun, liked the attachment or humiliation?

I love it when i tac knife a guy and drop my WA for his Intervention or 50 Cal, cause i just know how pissed they'll be when i kill them with it again. Once i picked up a 50 Cal and proceeded to kill the whole team with their gun. It only happened once though.

I do it if I'm out of ammo but, it turns into a fun game when you own your enemies with the picked up weapon. I've only killed the enemy with his gun a couple times.

One time I was camping up on the big rock by the AA gun behind the cave on Afghan. It's a pretty secluded spot, and you're hard to get to. I kept picking off guys running up from where A is on domination. I ran out of ammo, and picked up some guys gun. I preceded to kill him and his teammates coming back for revenge kills with his own gun. Usually I'll pick up other guns if I run out of ammo. Lately I've been using the m93 rafica, and it's about as good as a primary, and I can just use that to finish up my killstreaks. It's fun to go kamikazi with the akimbo glocks or something like that too.

Sometimes when I'm sniping, i'll swap my secondary for a blinged out AR. sleight of hand plus a blinged out weapon is prime just in case I feel like changing my strategy without dying. That is, assuming its not something weird like a tar with thermal and a tube.

I was quite proud when I completed the "Cruelty" challenge, but I don't do it often because when I run out of ammo I immediately switch to my secondary.

I only used to do it when i had just prestiged because i used scavenger for the most part. Sometimes i pick them up if they look cool... but now that my RPD has extended mags that's not really going to be a problem. Plus i never live long enough to run out of ammo -_-

I only do so if I am out of ammo. I already have the Cruelty challenge complete so I just use other weapons if I'm out of stock.

It's pretty funny to do it with a good camo weapon cus then they'll definitely know it's their own when you kill them with it.. very annoying having it done back to you though lol.

Yesterday i picked up some asshole's thermal intervention and killed him 5 times in a row with it. After the game he called me a thermal using douchebag. I had to remind him and the whole lobby who's weapon it was... :S

i pretty much pick up enemy guns when i'm outta ammo... or if i find a gun better suited for the suituation im in.

For me most of my secondaries are shorter range weapons. Sometimes i'll start the match with a Tar or M16 and hear my guys get killed by a sniper so i'll go pick up one of their snipers to even the playing feild.

I'd say a PP2000 with extended mags is close to an SMG, since the gun is a russian SMG to begin with...

I use scav pro alot because of the claymore fun, boom plant boom plant boom plant, When I don't use scav I always pick up another weapon.

It actually has the folding stock and everything too. That's the weird hinge deal you see on the back of the gun. Seems weird to me that the M93 Raficas have the stock unfolded, but the PP2000 doesn't.

Every time I prestige I use the PP2000 as a sidearm. If I use a sniper (which I suck with) sometimes I'll end up with more secondary kills than primary.

Back to the topic though:

I never use scavenger, so if I'm on a streak I'll run out of ammo. Especially with an automatic weapon like the SCAR or TAR. In that cause I'll kill a guy, or look for a dead body, run over and pick up their weapon.

When I'm going for a Nuke, I always try and swap my secondary for the first primary I find, just incase I run out.

I,ve set a class up with the intention of swapping my primary as soon as I find a fitting gun.
I have a Tac knife class set up with the m21 (I just wanted a knife class in the ghillie suit), I run CB and If I come across a weapon I like (Scar, Tar, silenced ump), I often swap even if I have full ammo.

Its pretty rare... cause I'm generally carrying a weapon that I don't run out of ammo on, or have scavenger on.

I have been tempted a few times to pick up someone's weapon like... OOH, I would like to play with that... but then I think to myself - why drop a weapon from a class I JUST chose to use someone else's which I didn't setup the attachments to? If I wanted to play with the ACR I would have chose it at start up.

But to me, I think this speaks to the great weapon offering in this game. I'm constantly trying new weapons and even rotating through my core group. So many fun weapons, so little time.

If I'm not using OMA or Scavenger then I swap out my secondary a lot, just so I'm sure I have enough bullets to keep going. It's worse when I don't do this and have two guns with zero bullets, I camp and hope someone runs past me so I can stab them and steal their gun.

Usually when I pick up someone else's gun it is by mistake, I stop to reload and happen to be standing right on top of the dead guys gun...... then I start to run to move on and only then realize, damn I switched weapons rather than reload. Most of the time I end up picking up something stupid as hell, something like a blinged Thermal/HBS FAL or an ACOG Intervention and end up being killed by the next person I run into.
