First time posting, been reading for a long time.

I'm trying to get Cold Blooded Pro for my run and gun class because I really think it'll help and I need some help on the best way to accomplish that given it seems like a huge pain in the @ss.

I've read about a glitch where you can shoot a downed chopper to get it but I rarely see the choppers spin out of control like that, they usually just crash after being hit. Also I'd rather not have to rely on a glitch to obtain this.

So my mission is this weekend to get this without cheesing it. So I need to know:

What is the easiest way to get this legitly?

What game type is best for the enemy getting large killstreaks to increase the likelihood of seeing a lot of choppers/harriers/sentries?

I've been trying to get it casually for a while and only have like 5 killed killstreaks atm. Usually by just knifing sentries when I see them up.

Any other advice or strategy I'm not thinking of to make this pro unlock easier?

Play domination and wait for people to call in harriers. Blow up the harriers, repeat. I rarely play a game where at least one airstrike isn't called in, so you shouldn't have too much of a problem finding something to blow up with a stinger or something.

1. Set up a class with Scav, CB and Stinger
2. Play Domination or Ground War
3. Wait for air support and take it down
4. Use scavenger to refill if necessary

Play ground war and run cold blooded with a stinger. Stay back away from the action. You'll shoot down like 6 things a game.

As said, make sure you have Scavenger equipped and a high power assault rifle to keep you alive, like the SCAR, TAR, or UMP.

Shoot down UAV's, anything that gets called in. Some games you'll be lucky have 3+ UAV whores on the other team, you can easily rack up 7+ killstreaks there.

Game type aside, dont forget to shoot UAVs and counter UAVs. Thats the best way to get the needed kills. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe knifing a sentry gun will also count. Knowing that UAvs get spammed by players of lower levels, try to find lobbies with a couple of level 25s or under. Hope this help.

Edit: Dont even try the challenge until you unlock the Stinger.

I took the long way and shot down UAV's with my UMP. Totally worth the wait. CB Pro is one of my favorite perks.
Eveyone has the right idea though, do what they say and you will have it in no time.

Use the glitch, who cares?

Get this LMG class:

RPD
AT4
Scavenger
Cold Blooded
ANY or Sitrep (to get a head start on Sitrep PRO)

When any Chopper is out, fire the AT4 at it, it will give it enough damage but not blow it up. Then start shooting at it with the RPD, it will start spinning in no time, keep firing, your bullets will not register and it seems like you aren't making contact but you are.

You'll start seeing "CB Challenge I, II, III, complete"

Or,

Get your CB, Stinger class and shootdown UAVs, CUAVs, AHs, PLs, CGs. Good luck.

I always got mine legit for the first 4 Prestiges and it would take forever to ge the 40, mainly because I didn't always use a Stealth class.

On my 5th Prestige I just went for the glitch and completed the whole challenge of 250 to get the emblem. The highest I ever got without doing the glitch was 150.

The glitch is more situational, but when you get in one of those situations you get about 50 destroyed killstraks.

I just unlocked the stinger, but I'm not switching to it! Goin for the glitch.

Might as well, even the glitch is not a given. Someone on your team might Stinger the shit out of choppers all game long giving you no chance to get to spin, or keep getting killed while trying to do so.

Can someoen explain this chopper "glitch" to me?

Basically, when somebody shoots a chopper down with anything but a stinger, usually it'll start spinning around for a while until it falls and crashes. the title will pop up and say "blah blah destroyed gunship".... while it's spinning out of control if you shoot at it with a gun, every bullet that hits it counts as a cold blooded kill. use an LMG and get all the challenges at once lol

Just got cold blooded pro. Took me about an hour.

I shot down all UAV's with stingers as well as choppers, harriers, etc. Didn't take long at all. I just hung out in the back and waited for a bit.

The cold blooded glitch is where a chopper or harrier is shot down and spins out of control eventually crashing. This is instead of actually blowing the thing up out of the sky.

Then, when it's spinning out of control, every hit on it with a gun or whatever counts towards a killstreak killed so it's possible to have akimbo G18's and hit a spiraling aircraft and get pro in about 5 seconds.

If a chopper is shot down with bullets (and maybe an AT4 or by a harrier, I'm not positive) then it starts to spin out of control, and eventually crashes. If you shoot it while it is spinning, every hit counts as one enemy equipment destroyed. You won't get a hit marker, the only indication you're doing it right will be any challenges you might get.

I have a class with cold blooded, an AT4, and a LMG, I use the L86 SW because it shoots the fast and has a lot of ammo. Shoot the helicopter with the AT4, this damages it, but won't destroy it. Now shoot it with your LMG until it's destroyed. It will start spinning around. Continue to shoot it as long as you can.

yeah, it's the easiest way to level up. I'm gonna have to do it soon when i unlock CB. But, if you don't like doing that kind of er, light sort of "glitching" then you can just use the traditional stinger or use a weapon...

It's a glitch but a harmless one. Has little to no effect on gameplay.

Ha no, but now that I see it...

RPD shoots 666 RPM, and the L86 shoots like 800. It's a little faster.

I just happened to get lucky and have have a G18 last time I saw one going down.....challenge complete. Its the only time I've gotten CB pro.

Also of note, I was able to hit two crate drop helicopters and those counted towards it also. You have to be on top of the targeting and it tends to chase the heli a bit but it eventually catches up and blows it up.

Now that it's done, is cold blooded pro really that helpful in your opinions? Does it help with defense mainly?

I haven't seen many running around with it on but I assume it'd mess them up with targeting, expecting to see a name and red crosshairs maybe getting them to think I'm a friendly. Who knows...

It's not a game breaker. You can play dead with it (look it up on youtube) or ghost.

I've never tried it but I'm sure someone has. Complete all the sniper challenges so you always have a gillie suit. Then run around knifing people. You're name won't show up in red, and the gillie suit won't give you away.

I think harriers count toward CB, no?
But it's kinda annoying that stinger kills only count toward helis... the majority of my stingers are for harriers
