At times I want to play ONLY old maps and ONLY new maps. I think they should merge stimulus and resurgence into 2 game types, core, and hardcore, then all the others just old maps. You might think why I would want that, because I was reading a post that said 'Alot of good people play the new maps, and noobs don't.' Vote in the poll then post what you said and why.

I've been playing just resurgance lately, but i know that sooner or later i'll revert back to just certain game types and having the maps mixed. Personally i prefer them all mixed up just so it keeps the variety fresh and unexpected. But, i think that personal options is very important as well. I agree that IW should make some type of option to allow you to pick a certain set of maps that you may or may not want to play, even if i wouldn't use said option.

It is clear that IW does not care what you or I think. If you play on Xbox you can just use multiple xboxes. 1 xbox with the map packs. 1 xbox without the map packs. Maybe another with just one of the map packs.

That is the only solution available.

IW should have a filter...

EX: I don't want to play this map, but I want to play THIS map. I don't want to play with these guns and I want my connection at least 3 bars. Then it'll find a game for you, and there's always the option to play unfiltered.

Then all you do is reduce the number of potential players for your game. Then lag will become an even bigger issue as the game starts searching all over the world to find people with your same desires.

Or you will just sit there forever as the game searches for players to infinity and beyond.

I havent got the resurgence as Im on ps3, but I will get it. So how does it work?. Is it like a mini mosh pit like the stimulus?. I tend to play the mosh pit option in mw2 so I see the new levels now and again , but tbh I see them more often than I should. I figured the stimulus only option would sort have disappeared after a few weeks as its really a quick way to get to know the maps.
