When you get killed, what gun makes you respect the person that killed you? In other words, what gun makes you say "Wow, that guy is pretty good, he uses a respectable gun"? For me, I respect people when they kill me with the FAL. It is a really good gun but it is also a tough gun to use.

FAL and ak47. They are two guns that people dont choose because they are easy killers. I like the AK because its cool but needs some effort to drop people at distance. The Fal takes a lot of skill to properly own , so max respect.

PROPER use of sniper rifles as they are intended to be used ie. OHKs from across the map, shooting my head off as I'm shooting at them, DRAG EFFFING SHOTS etc.... not lucky random crap like no scopes, blind firing, emptying a whole magazine to get one kill (M21 is a friggin' AR FFS, I have no respect what so ever for that piece of crap)

Most snipers are absolutely retarded in this game and have to rely on their overpowered secondaries to get kills as they can't aim for shit. (I'm not a good sniper either, so I don't bother) so when someone actually knows how to use one properly and do well with it, they have my respect.

And the FAL, F2000, AK47.

F2000, because it of the recoil and because it is one of the most underused guns in the game. And it is one of my favorite guns.

FAL, again just because you don't see it too often and it takes some skill to use. You just can't spray at an enemy and kill them, you actually have to aim.

Intervention. It's basically a gun designed solely to test yourself, so kudos to people who use it over the others.

Well, the thing is I have been killed in the past (shot in the back, etc) by people using these underused guns, but the player themselves has actually been horrible lol.

However, if we are talking about completely mastering a gun, I would agree that:

1. Intervention
2. FAL
3. AK-47

I think it is funny how horrible most snipers in MW2 are, it is to the point that as soon as someone sees another guy getting headshots with an Intervention automatically call "aimbot."

I hate when I am in a game with a guy using a modded controller and the FAL. I can shoot the FAL pretty fast when I have to, but this one guy I was playing against, his shot about as fast as the Vector and it never jumped. I called him out on it in the post game lobby and he started studdering saying he can just shoot that fast and everyone else said that was BS and he ended up leaving.

I've never been accurate with the 3rb weapons, the thought process of clicking a lot seems to screw with my accuracy unless it's a pistol, in which case I have probably just emptied my primary and had to switch in combat.

A weapon that I would consider as being respectable is probably the TMP, it just doesn't seem to have an upside.

I don't understand why people get so angry about the M21; it gets called an assault rifle - which it may act like, IF it had normal iron sights. It doesn't though, so it doesn't have the same advantages as an assault rifle.
If you're at a range where an M21 user can really just spam and get a kill, then you (if you have an assault rifle) should have killed him.

The desert eagle though is probably the worst gun imo so i respect that the most, getting tactical knife on it is a paaaain.

People get annoyed about the M21 because if you pick a sniper rifle you expect to play like a sniper, deliberatly taking the time to make sure you get that one shot on target.

However, in reality every M21 user employs a "scope panic bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam" mentality whether at 20 yards or 400 yards - they still spam 6 shots around you and 2 hit you.

It goes back to "spraying & praying." It's just annoying to be killed by someone who did not deliberately aim at you. I mean duh... it's an FPS game. You expect people to actually aim at you, not fire bullets at your vague location until one hits you.

It's the same reason "wallbanging" is annoying.

No respect for people who use FAL when they shoot as fast as the Vector or F2000 lol... modded controllers ftl.

I respect people who finish me off long distances with handguns or submachineguns or other generally bad long distance weapons.

I respect people who can win a close distance surprise combat against my when I use AR or SMG and they use an LMG (other than Steyr).

I respect people who can do a 360 headshot with any weapon.

I respect people who runs outta ammo, ducks and manages to finish me off with their secondary pistol.

i have no respect for the famas ump acr etc
i have respect for the fal ff2000 quick scope intervention
i use intervention and do very well with it and m16 iron sights. i used to use m4 with out stopping power or heart beat and was suprised when i saw that you guys respected them.

What? Really? The ACR, such a fantastic gun. What's so bad about it? The no recoil? Ever consider how the low damage output evens that out? Ever consider that the FAMAS actually takes skill to use?
Quick scope and respect should never be put in the same sentence. Line up the guy in the middle of your screen and then quick scope. Honestly, that is the least thing to have respect for. Any noob can quick scope.

the reason for acr is the high accuracy and fire rate. can take out people down across the map before any other AR. Famas fmj stopping power = no skill. you can spray into the spawn and it will get crazy number of kills. you can kill people before they even know you're shooting at them.
quick scoping. you have to be really good to kill someone when they are using an AR or SMG. Intervention esspescially. the bolt action makes it so if you miss your dead.
