All of these discussions about the Multiplayer aspects of CoD MW2 are very interesting and fruitful I believe. But in the end, I believe Infinity Ward/ Activision are positioning their product away from the PC gamer community. And that is their choice. So be it.

The reason I will not buy Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is this:

I will not support a company that stifles the creative efforts of the very community supporting this company!

I meant that i both will buy double as fast bandwidth and a new GFX

If i host the game, then a new GFX will make less lags for the others and better bandwidth will give them better pings

I bought a xbox 360 some months ago and i really have regret it. I don't like it, only kids playing on it and if i go in some big shoutbox room with xbox 360 boys, if i say something PC got better graphics and is more fun and have the option to play more competitive and you can also choose to play for fun and its better to sit at a PC with a good screen, with keyboard and mouse and if it's a game like Need For Speed or GTA and you don't like using keyboard and moues in those games, you just plugin a controller, can be a custom one or just a xbox 360 controller.

They flip out and say that their PC lags and have very bad graphics and then i ask how much did it cost and when you bought it, then he answers that its 4 years old and did cost almost nothing, so even there it was crap.

I tried both the console and the PC and i know what there rock my pants the most.. PC.

Just to save you a lot of money, errm that is still a fairly wrong assesment of the benefits ^^^

Buying faster INTERNET (I assume this is what you mean by "bandwidth" as opposed to the bandwidth of hardware inside your box, i.e. the proccessors bandwidth) WILL have a big positive effect on any lag & ping.

Buying a better GFX card will make NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL to anyone except you.


Here is how MP works, assuming you are the host. Your PC sends my PC a very quick status report. this "status report" says cromatox is at coordinates 12.4,15.6 firing a weapon that does 40 damage.

It is then completely up to me and my GFX card whether my computer takes that information and puts it in the game rendering it at 1600p and maxed settings at 25 - 35 FPS (i.e. lag) or whether it uses maxed settings and only 1080p for 100 FPS (i.e. no lag)
