Group riot shields in S&D - Modern Warfare 2 Forum: Free Call of Duty MW2 Community

A really fun way to play in S&D is to get a group of friends together and have them all use riot shields. You can use any riot shield class you have, but this is the class that works best for me.

Loadout:
Riot Shield
Akimbo .44 Magnums
Throwing Knife
Stun Grenade
Marathon
Stopping Power
Commando

This works better if you have mics or bluetooth. You and your friends should always stay together. Watch each other's backs. When you come across an enemy, work together to take him down. Some will distract him while others can kill him with their secondaries or their shield. If you're face to face with an enemy and you see him getting out a grenade, kill him with your throwing knife. Otherwise, move toward your enemy and smash his head in with your commando. If he is backing up he will be too slow, if he turns and runs you switch to secondary and shoot him. As riot shielders, you can protect each other and someone who is planting/defusing.

This not only works 90% of the time, but it's also REALLY REALLY FUN

Whenever I see someone with a riot shield in SnD I switch to my OMALOL class and spawn tube when I can as well as tubing everyone.

I've done that! It's really fun!
I also love running around with friends in domination, and laying down a sniper contain on the other team. Or an OMALOL contain is almost contain is almost is almost as good.

The best contain ever is on highrise when you have two people sniping from the roof(the one you jump off the map to get to and land on the sideways thing), one OMALOL'er on the platform with the chopper, and another OMALOL'er on the platform with the oil tank. Then two riot shielders with C4 on either side window.

Then watch as the other team gets pissed when they can't get out of their building.

If they try to go under, the OMALOL'er keeps an eye on the middle, eventually it turns into a tubefest/snipefest into the center as they all try to go down the stairs.

It's really fun!

It's fun on SnD when your team runs around with only throwing knives and wins!

but I would use scavenger

A team did that to me, all 6 of them had riot shields, they were all beating up one person then I shot a javelin at them and killed the whole team at once.

A tube will take care of any riot shileder.

Seen a guy get a nuke on SnD this way. Five of his team mates ran around with riot shields finding and alerting him to where the enemies were, and he did the killing. Seems like cheating... not sure.

Yep, I know, not one of them thought of using a tube or even semtex!
I don't know why it just didn't seem right, frickin hilarious though, the other team were going ape shit!

It's up on youtube, SnD nuke, or summit like that.

I was in an SnD on quarry, went to get a drink, came back the last one alive, and ran into the riot shielders... I was killed by a barrage of throwing knives, it was so epic
