Okay, seems my computer is too crappy to handle Fraps recording, but using AutoHotkey to fire once every 50ms (20 times a second, 1200 RPM) for 12 shots it emptied the entire clip four times.

I also tested it at 60, 70 and 80ms intervals and oddly at 80ms it would empty half the clip and stop.

I heard Wegame is less performance intensive than Fraps, so I'll try that now.

According to MW2 Wiki the M9 and USP both have a the same firing cap

I guess that settles it. no firing cap (at least within the realms of physical possibilities). When I google it there's a multitude of websites claiming the cap exists. Who would have thought there was incorrect information on the internet? Does no one police the bloody thing?
Back o/t sort of, the magnum in this game is self-cocking so requires the same user input to fire as the others ie. pulling the trigger. Does that not count as semi-auto?

Looked into it more and as Jamesmsv said there are loads of conflicting results. Read some that say the USP has a lower cap than M9 read some that say they are all the same as cod4. FCK it don't care, whats important is the M9 is coolest

The 1200 RPM on the PC version is confirmed (it's the first one in the video). No idea about console.

Heh, I didn't actually try anything faster than 1200 RPM.

Okay, on topic, USP silenced is now on every single one of my classes except for the Stinger. I love it.

i think the .44 Magnum is a good gun. when i have the tactical knife attachment to it for some reason it feels like the accuracy improved. i like the .44 Magnum because of it's power. it is deadly at close range.

Honestly, range is not an issue with pistols, unless you attempt to snipe with it... Plus, the m9 recoil is merely visual and it dosent affect my accuracy. The only bad thing with the M9 is it cant be silenced...

I'm not a big fan of using handguns, but when I do I prefer the M9 or .44 Magnum. M9 is nice for a balanced, overall wellness, while the Magnum is great for brute strength. The Desert Eagle has too strong of a recoil for me, the sole reason I avoid it. The only pistol I like to use akimbo with is USP .45.

I saw a guy who was doing really well with akimbo usp.45 and it turned out to be the best in my opinion.
