have you ever had an amazing throwing knife kill or a random throwing knife kill? I put on throwing knife on all my classes and went in to ground wars and in my second match on scrapyard i threw a throwing knife over those grey things in the middle and i got kill! it was awesome! I like to put a sniper class on with throwing knife and just try to get awesome kills.

If you run around the map all game using just the throwing knife you would be surprised how many sick kills you actually get.

I started using them this prestige, pretty fun, but sometimes frustrating how you can miss like on favela when the dude is just camping in those tight alleys

I have gotten a game winning kill with the throwing knife. I was on underpass and I tac knifed two guys then ran around a corner and threw my knife at some guy rushing me and it hit him in the leg. All that was shown in the kill cam too.

ive had some decent long-range throwing knives, but nothing crazy. I usually just use semtex anyway.

for FFA i pretty much use throwing knives all the time at the minute. I want to be like wootnessy although some of his tactics get me killed on occassion so i do it my way.

i do use his set up though

which is:

any SMG
any pistol (doesn't need to have tac knife)/ Akimbo G18s or M93s

Throwing knife
Stun

scavenger
lightweight
ninja or commando (for high jumps)

i think my best TK kill would have to be on estate i was coming from the boat house and got hurt running towards the big house so i lay down behind that little wall on the right before you reach the black car aim up to where i roughly thought the opening to the balcony is and launched it.

....... Bullseye, the guy was actually sitting on the bed just inside the balcony and sent me a message saying good shot.

i prefer TK's over any other form of equipment simply because they are fun and i'm pretty sure rage ensues for any victim, even more so if you pretty close together and you get a reflex TK kill.

i find at close range just using the crosshair on your gun as a guide for where your knife is going to go and just flicking the nade button nets some funny kills.

i use scavenger so i can go for long range TK's and not have to worry about retrieving it if i miss instead i pistol whip or knife someone for a scav pack and then get back to throwing my knives.

it's also a bit easier in FFA to net throwing knife kills in my opinion, as everyone is a target and you don't often get horded by groups.

i have also noticed that TK's can be helpfull even without hitting your target as it makes a quite distinctive clanging noise and more often then not that person will turn around and see if you were there so be ready to stab or shoot.

i'm still not amazing with them by any means but i am netting a lot more kills with them.
probably a third to half my kills are TK's in FFA now, unless i'm getting majorly powned or there is booster justice to be served.

To start with apart from losing kills due to no claymores and dyeing more due to TKing not shooting, all of my kills were alternate kills. What I mean by this is every TK kill I got I could have got with gun. Now though I am actually starting to get some that have saved me. When reloading and someone appears in front of you for instance. IMO not the best piece of equipment but def the most fun.

I like them cos i can throw them at the first wall i see, that way i dont have to worry about knifing fresh air for the rest of the game
