I'm trying to get the nuke emblem...
If I prestige before I get 10 nukes, does it carry over?

Nope. You have to complete the challenge within one prestige. Same goes for all the other challenges except the 'Prestige' ones.

If they carried over I would have it by now. But now UAV and counter UAV with a riot shield is how i play.

They don't carry over, but if you get the ten nukes, then prestige, you'll still have the nuke symbol.

And not even all of those. Knife Veteran, Flashbang Veteran, Stun Veteran, Stealth Veteran and Last Stand Veteran also reset every prestige.
