What platform? Alot of PC players have trouble, so if it's that then that would help alot. Though I don't get people who obsess over quickscoping, I only do it when I'm being rushed.

PC players have trouble because QSing relies on auto-aim to be effective. Without it, scope sway fucks PC players over too much.

On a side note, does anyone want a guide on how to turn their toaster on?

I would appreciate that yes. And actually, I QS on PC, and then when I got on my ps3 yesterday the autoaim actually messed me up.

Objective facts > subjective experience.

Do you play DotA btw? I'm pretty sure I saw a guide on dotastrategy written by your name.

Put the guy in the middle of your screen.
Double tap Y
Go into scope for a split second.
Shoot.
Repeat.

Heck I'd be interested. I thought videos on youtube would help but they didn't really cut it. I've tried it and I just stick to my normal tactics. Yes, it would be cool.

I quickscope for fun, it should not be relied on as any serious tactic, i.e. competitive gaming. and i dunno what the guide is gonna be on, it really is self explanatory.

and now i'll leave this thread to the PC players who will be ecstatic to tell everyone how noobish auto aim is.

Does a sniper scope always start off at the center of the screen when used? If it does, then QS is viable, if ineffective compared to the much easier to use EVERYTHING.

If you have anything new to bring to the table then go for it, I wouldn't mind learning how. Because to me it seems very straight forward, just one of those things that take practice.

Quikscoping isnt helpful. Its A bit of showing off, which I like. But What would you rather have a Headshot or a quickscope.

Quickscoping is fun when you're playing against morons. If you're not playing against morons, it's the most frustrating thing in the world

Quickscoping for Dummies.

1. Hold your breath in a private match.
2. With a WASHABLE marker, dot the center of the steadied crosshairs on TV/monitor.
3. Play in public matches.
4. Place enemy in the vicinity of the marker'ed dot.
5. ?????
6. PROFIT!

Spoiler:
No-Scoping for Dummies

1. Run around aimlessly on the map.
2. Perform a 720 degree turn.
3. Jump, then shoot.
4. LUCK!

No-Scope Montages for Dummies

1. Perform the above.
2. Record separate clips of lucky kills.
3. Never press the scoreboard button revealing that you are 12-30.
4. ?????
5. VIEWS!
