Hello everybody.

I am level 70, 9th Prestige, and I have been for a while.
But recently, my real life friend just prestiged to 10th, after being 9th for like 2½ month! And he says that he doesn't regret it.
But, I am holding back. Because, I know that as soon as I get level 70, I will look like a hacker. And the only benefict I gain, is that the 10th Prestige emblem looks cooler. :b
SO.. Should I get that last Prestige, or should I just stay 9th.. And keep my progess?
I know I have said before that I am level 70, 10th Prestige.. But that's because it sounds cooler, but, I am afraid to look like one of those pesky level hackers/boosters!

So please give me you opinion. Should I get the last Prestige, and 'comeplete' the game.
Or should I stay 9th Prestige, as 10th doesn't really benefict a lot..

I just wait until I've done some more prestige challenges.

Just ignore the randoms that call you a rank hack? I highly doubt they'd start trying to teamkill/block you etc.

Although I haven't played in a while I'm 1st prestige with the 9th prestige title and rotating 10th prestige emblem solely for the purpose of making people semi-rage.

if you're good enough, being 10th prestige isn't that bad. i've been tenth for about 4 months now and people still call me a hacker, till i pwn their noob asses. then they call me a wallhacker, or aimbotter, or something like that. no matter what you do people will hate on you. if you do well, they hate on you for doing well, if you do shitty, people will hate on you for being noob, if you do moderately, people will hate on you for not standing out, its just how MW2 goes.

I don't prestige, so I've never had this problem. I also shut my mic off, so the only place people can complain to me at is by sending me a personal message. Usually I only get random invites to some prestige 10 lobby or quick-scope matches, but occasionally I'll run into someone trying to insult me and my gameplay. Usually it's just one swear in all caps. I guess they can't find anything legitimate to complain about me when all I do is run forward like a psycho wielding an Ak-74u or a Vector. :P

But anyway, if anyone complains I would too recommend you not take it personally. Stupid people will say stupid things, so just ignore them.

im legit 10th atm, i dont regret it either, because now i know i can get all the attatchments/camos i want and ill never have to lose it again :P its a good feeling to be back on top

People are still bothered by 10th prestigers? I honestly could care less whether they hack or not, as long as they're not like trolling saying "im 10th im better blah blah"

I'll be honest, I was 5th Prestige and hacked my way to ninth. I still didn't get all of the titles and emblems, so I still feel the need to accomplish some things, besides camos.

It's just a rank. I for one prefer the P9 symbol to the P10, it just looks better IMO.

Hmm.. The most of you guys are telling me to Prestige, but some says it doesn't matter, and therefore a waste.

I need to think about it..

Dude, I mean, I can see what you mean by the whole glitching thing and what-not, but the whole point of the game is to advance to the top, and could you really live with yourself knowing that you're one away?
