silencer help with recoil but i find the m203 helps even more. very good gun for rushing. long range, dont even try it, you will just be giving your position away. medium range, quick burst usually work best. CQC is where this gun really shines. the HROF help this rifle drop opponent quickly. hip firing is also surprisingly, very accurate. stopping power is a must.

basically, treat as if it were an SMG.

Silencer does not reduce recoil, just muzzle flash. The recoil remains the same. The SMG part is right. IF you are at a distance where you would not engage with an SMG (bar the UMP) then move around and flank. It makes a good rushing weapon and can put people down FAST up close.

I would say don't use a silencer, alot of its strength comes from the fact that you get SMG like fire rate but its damage at distance is slightly greater. If you put a silencer on it you've got an SMG without the movement or raise time benefits. It works well with FMJ and doesn't really need a sight as the irons are good.

There's many better guns but the F2000 can be alot of fun. Pack a Raffica as a secondary for long range encounters.

I would recommend burst-firing it with a Red Dot Sight. The smaller dot makes precision that much easier and if you treat it like a burst fire weapon at medium to long range, you can come out of a decent amount of situations alive.

I used the red dot for a little, I still prefer the iron's and feel they are somewhat similar to the TAR's iron sights.

I'm currently going for Fall and Mastery with the F2000, I've got 22 more FMJ kills for mastery and probably 175 more headshots (ick)

This gun made me so pissed whilst I was going for mastery. the 40 fmj kills took me soooo long. Although back then I didn't know about the sub-base spot where you get fmj kills almost everywhere. It's below the computer room, if you stay at the back down there and shoot people through the fence it'll count as FMJ and you'll rack up alot fast. Got 40 fmj kills with the Mini-uzi in 3 sub-base free for alls there. GL

FMJ usually comes pretty naturally for most guns. Its one of the most useful attachments IMO.

I like to use the Holo Sight. Sure the irons are good but with the Holo you can land more bullets on the target more easily which is important with this gun. I find that I can easily miss a whole burst of bullets because of the recoil.

silencer and burst. its not that hard its just all of the other guns have no recoil. Or use the counterstrike trick of aiming at their head then pulling down as you fire. anywho..

I personally love this gun, once I'm back to that lvl I can't wait to begin my Mastery of that perfect CQC weapon.

The F2000, my favorite gun. Put on Silencer, Sleight of Hand, SP, SitRep and Magnum w/ FMJ as my secondary and I will do some work. And I just got this tonight.

Yeah it is the 2500 kills, don't think I would be able to get the 1000 headshots anytime soon. Although that would be a very impressive title to have. And headshots are so easy with the F2000.

I use the holographic sight with the F2000 and play on Hardcore and you just gotta burst fire it. I think the holographic sight decreases the recoil by a bit, but don't quote me on that.. for some reason i always hate getting killed by this gun

Go die.

I kid.

The F2k silenced is what most people use, try it out, and experiment a bit, see what you like best.

Last time I used it was with FMJ. That was pretty lethal. I usually just use it like an SMG, works better that way.

I mastered this gun using two attachments at a time. What I would do is throw on the RDS/Silencer to get holo and heartbeat at the same time. Holo/silencer reduce the recoil a ton. After that, put GL/RDS and get the Shotty and work on getting the holo some more.

Then just keep doing that. When going for FMJ kills, spraying works quite well with that gun as long as you have steady aim.

Can we put a sticky up at the top of General Discussion that isn't even a thread?

It should just say "THE SILENCER DOES NOT REDUCE RECOIL!!!!!"

I'm sick of it coming up in every other thread.

You are correct on that. I think what it does do is reduce muzzle flash, which makes it seem like it is reducing recoil.

I just mastered this myself :P

I found the fastest way to it was noob tubing to silencer, and then silencer all the way. Silencer DOES reduce recoil, big time, its a surprisingly good hip fire weapon, so if your good at hip fire, this will be easy. Have fun and good luck ^.^
