Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the game. Nor am I one of the people who post a rant and say that they're quitting the game.

I just got bored. Anyone else? New maps are the same story different setting. Catch ya'll when Black Ops comes out.

Like any game it gets stale after a bit. Although even though it makes me blue in the face some of the WTF deaths and kills can keep you going in this game.

I get what you mean, I played BC2 for a couple of weeks but it just wasn't the same so I came back to COD and I'm addicted again.

Might be fun to work towards something (like fall camo on a sniper rifle, I always get hooked when I try to do this) or just mess around with riot shield and C4 or something.

Or, just play something that doesn't piss you off no end lol but I have too much spare time for that option at the moment.

I haven't played for around a week and a half, kinda miss it, kinda don't. Want to use the barrett again. I dunno. I think I'm getting Reach soon after it comes out so I might say goodbye to it for a long while

Yes i get bored with it at times too. But if u take time away from it and play another game for a while. then jump back into it. its get u like the first time u ever played it...very addicting especially when u set goals for urself to unlock things.

I hadn't played in about 2 weeks either. Picked up halo reach and had some fun with that. Just got on last night and had a great time again. Maybe I'm crazy but I think the dmr on halo reach has made me much more accurate with my shots on cod. For the first time I picked up the FAL and totally kicked ass with it. I scored 42 head shots in free for all in about two hours (certainly a personal best). Thoughts?

I've been playing MAG since about mid August. Just kind of wanted a break between MW2 and Black Ops.

Haven't played MAG in months. Sick of Idiot team mates (Tardmates are less of a problem in MW2). That and nobody bothered with headsets and objectives. On the odd time it worked still say it was my best online mp experience. Has it got any better/more teammates with headsets?

Depends, I was playing Raven and then went to Valor because everyone said Valor was so damn hard. Valor has awesome guns, but the blue dots are a bunch of noobs. You never get rezzed, no one repairs anything etc.

I don't have a headset so I never try to be a squad leader. However, I'm always following orders, going through waypoints, etc. It can be horrible frustrating at times but, as you said, when it works and you have some good teammates and are afgainst an equally good team, it is easily one of the best online gaming experiences ever.

They just did a huge patch (MAG 2.0) which fixed alot fo the gun damage, made the knife alot less MW2-ish (thank god) and a bunch of other things. The skill tree is completely revamped, etc.

I'm the same way. I have about 3 game I rotate through. I play one for a couple months, then switch, etc, etc.

New maps, patches, updates, etc usually get me back for a while but then I get bored again. Kinda makes the game new again.

Started playing again this weekend. Its amazing how rusty one gets after only about 6 weeks away. It took me awhile to be able to draw a bead on someone quickly enough to win firefights again.

I'm also horribly inconsistent now, one match I go 19-4, then 8-10, then 17-6, then 0-5 (ragequit).
