Default MW2 Disconnections
Recently I was in a game of SnD and went 8-2, and after the round, everyone was disconnected and brought to the lobby. It showed my experience bar in the end, but I'm not sure if I gained any experience from it.

What I'm wondering is if I do gain any when this happens. This occurs often and has been bugging me lately as I wonder if I just end up wasting my time...

If you "time out" then you do not gain XP.

Recently I've been getting 'STEAM connect failed' and something 'out of parameter' errors.
