Everyone knows the AC-130 is a pain to shoot down, right? Well one of my buddies enlightened me on how to shoot it down right away. Just get you and another person with stingers. One person shoots one off, and then the other one fires right after the first person (awesome description, I know). The AC-130 can't deploy multiple flairs at a time, so one missile will get jammed by the flairs, and the other will hit, takin' it out. Happy hunting =)

I agree, this isn't anything we all never knew. Usually when I have a Stinger class, I'm the only one attempting to shoot it down.

Most AC130 users are retarded and don't know that there is an option to switch weapons, and if you stay inside a relatively safe area, you should be fine. AC130 dominates in maps like Afghan for the caves, Wasteland for the openness and bunker spamming, and Highrise for blasting the cannon in the enemy spawn.

2. 90% of the time there is never more than one person on a team with stingers.

To try and turn this into a useful thread...... I did notice something very useful about firing stingers at Pavelows the other day.
Everyone knows that sometimes if you're in close proximity to a pavelow and fire off a stinger, the flares don't have time to deploy and you get a OHK.
I've noticed that when the Pavelow is a bit too far away to do this, if you aim as far in front of the nose as possible without losing lock-on, when you fire the stinger the flares come out the back of the vehicle, the stinger arcs round to meet them and more often than not takes out the tail. Another OHK but at further distance, very useful.

Ditto. Not having Stinger unlocked after Prestiging is painful enough without having to watch countless retards try to shoot them with their primaries.

Well actually this is something I DIDN'T know. Maybe I'm just slow, but I'm definitely not a nub ha ha. But seeing as how I just recently found this out and I've never ran into other people doing it I thought I'd share.........
