Default How to mod on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Hey all,

I guess many wonder how some people host these modded servers (fun servers), there are over 50 mods by now, mods to have fun on COD Modern Warfare 2 NOT to hack you level like many want to.

I've been hosting modded servers few months now so i thought about showing you guess how to do this.

First program you need is the program that loads the mods into the game,

Looks like this:

Download here: Download MW2_Liberation.zip.

-Simply run this program and select a mod with the combobox (i have some mods below) then run COD Modern Warfare 2.
-Now your game will be readdy to play the mod you selected.
-Now press 'F4' (whilest ingame), this will bring up the screen where you choose your map, pointslimit, timelimit,....
-When you have chosen the settings for your server simply press 'F5', now the server will immediately start.
- People will start enetering your server and you can have fun!

Few mods to download:
- Flyable helicopter mod:

download:Download Flyable Helicopter v2.rar.

-Gungame
picture:

download:Download GunGame + Modloader.rar.

-Hide and seek
picture:

download:Download Hide And Seek Mod.zip.

-Zombie mod
video: YouTube - Quarantine Chaos Zombie Mod v2

download:Download zombmod.rar.

-Counter Strike mod:
no video / pictures
download:Download CSWarfare.rar.

I'm not quite sure why you want to advertise this.

It is not your mod(s), and other than gaining views on YT videos (also may not be yours), I don't see what you would gain.

Yeah, links probably have viruses or something. But I'm pretty sure this is all common knowledge considering how many retarded modded lobbies there is.

Today I had the pleasure of playing a C4 only game with friendly fire enabled.

What does anyone gain by giving a mod to the community?

OT: I scanned some of the URLs, they all appear to be safe, however the download links all require you to enter details and complete a survey etc. which I am not doing.

If you could upload the files to VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner and post screenshots/links to the results here i'm sure more people would be inclined to download the files.

Hey thats how i got my windows 7/sony vegas/pretty much everything that costs money one my computer! (all for educational purposes ofcourse)

Weird, I played that zombie mod for the first time yesterday.

Pretty cool, but the host had set it so everyone had infinite ammo/never ending clips, so they just sprayed at the door leading to where they were (it takes quite a long time to destroy a door).

Adding more gamemodes spoils the game? When you've played Zombies/PropsMod on MW2 come back and tell me you didn't enjoy it.

I love modded lobbies with extra gametypes, especially since it's such a surprise when you click Domination and a minute later you're fleeing a Zombie horde or sprinting round as a TV trying to find somewhere to hide and blend in.

You're thinking of aimbots and wallhacks. They are the ones that ruin the game.
Modding is completely different. There are games such as zombie mode, the gun game(wager matches on Black ops), and sniper only mods. They are a bunch of fun.

SOME are a bunch of fun.

A lot of time, the "modders" abuse the mods and use the "spectator glitch" to make themselves invulnerable, and then they of course, win.
