Default marathon pro question

i just prestiged and one of the things i want to do before prestiging again is to get the marathon pro emblem-it is easier to get by using lightweight since you cover greater distances or alone as you spend more time running ???

With lightweight you'll move faster, so you'll run more miles and get the emblem sooner (I think).

It's easier to get with Lightweight since it's distance covered not time spent running. However, even with LW it took me pretty much all of one Prestige to get it.

Derail, if everyone camps the middle building, work on your cardio along the outside edges of the map.

Same in wasteland. Get a FAMAS M16 or sniper and just sprint the outside of the map looking in at the gather points from time to time.

Don't use a Famas or M16, Just because of the speed reduction.

I only ever use Marathon and Lightweight together and I ALWAYS got Marathon Pro much sooner than Lightweight Pro. Unless I'm misunderstanding the question.

Now if your talking about the emblem for getting Pro VI, than Marathon is much easier as Lightweight Pro VI takes forever.

Strange huh? As Marathon Pro takes 4 less miles than Lightweight Pro.

He was asking whether it's easier to use Lightweight together with Marathon to complete the Marathon VI challenge.

OT: I've done it fairly quick this prestige, mainly because I just rush all the time. I've been working on the SMG mastery challenges, so my class setup is always(usually) SMG, Marathon, Stopping Power, Something. That way I can still win the majority of fights whilst doing the challenge.

Confirming what the others say, it's easier to get Marathon Pro with Leightweight as your tier 2 perk.

MLN is my favorite class setup since it allowes me to run around agile and punch the enemy in the neck constantly going through spawns. I think I've gotten the VI challenge four times with marathon now but only once with Leightweight. It's a pita.

if you dont mind dying a few times, i actually did the painkiller-out-of-wasteland trick and ran around wayyy outside the map with no distractions or (more) annoying deaths.

i know that lightweight pro is much harder than marathon to get!!

i used to have scav pro or oma for 1st tier with assault rifles but now i decided to try something different and as platy said marathon is the best perk for submachineguns!!
Time to give rushing a try

I got Marathon and Lightweight PRO 30-35 levels into my 8th Prestige... I'm now level 52-53. I rush a lot.

The best method of getting marathon up is to use it with lighweight along with either a sub-machine gun class or sniper because both classes have the maximum mobility.

If you want to level it up whilst playing a game the best option for you is capture the flag since its mainly all about running back and forth giving you the perfect class for the perfect gametype. Along side the perk challenges you'll level up at a nice rate if you flag run. I found that playing this gametype made me forget about the perks in general because i was enjoying the fast tempo and flag capping point bonuses which in-turn made the time go by quicker.

Am i the only person that finds it ironic that someone says 'i liked it....because it made the time go by quicker.' about a game he paid about 60 bucks for ?
